It is more difficult to chew or crush and can not be injected by abusers. I have been on oxycontin 80 mg. they made me really sick and did not help my pain. What is the equivalent of oxy. 80 mg and opana? ## Information that I've gathered on this topic from various references states the following: "All opioids have different effects. There is no such thing as "equivalent" dosages. Body chemistry is very different in everyone, so an "equivalent" dosage for one person could cause another to OD" Just to further reiterate this - according to opiate equivalency tables, 40mg of Oxymorphone (opana) injected roughly equals 800mg of Oxycodone." (This is not a typo). What I highly recommend, is to discuss your situation with a qualified doctor instead of asking someone else what an equivalent dose would be, since it can vary on a case by...

I have been taking this med app. 6 months, oxycontin 80mg, they just changed it to opana ER 40mg., does anyone know the difference? Does anyone know which is better for arounf the clock severe pain? Thank you ## They are both different opiates, but you've been given an equivalent dose. There really is no better or best medication that anyone should tell you, it depends on you and what works best to relieve your pain. Have you tried the Opana, yet? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Opana is probably one of the strongest narcotics out there for in home use. I'm not talking about injectables, pills only. It has very ...

dosage and administration ## my daughter's boyfriend and assailant was found with needles and a blue liquid in his car when arrested... what might this be? ## This is probably a perscription drug broken down to powder and with water added for injection, most likely an opiate such as morphine sulfate, oxycontin (oxycodone) , ms contin, or dilaudid. ## I have a blue tasteless liquid I was told is morphine I need to know if it is injectable. Any thoughts ## What are the different types of liquid morphine pain medications available in Australia and how do you properly administer them? ## How do I properly administer liquid morphine intravenously? How much should I take and is it safe? It says NDC: 0054–0404-44. 30mL bottle and it's 100 mg per 5 mL or 20 mg/mL.

IF YOU HAVE AN 80MG DILAUDID SCORED ROUND TABLET, HOW WOULD U KNOW IF IT CAN BE TAKEN INTRAVENOUSLY ? ## Well first, the tablet with the marking 54 425 contains only 8mgs of Hydromorphone, that active ingredient in Dilaudid, which is the maximum dosage available for the regular release tablets, the extended release goes up to 12mgs. And second, trying to break down any tablet and inject it isn't safe. This should only be done with medications that have been specially formulated as injectable liquids. Learn more about Dilaudid Details Are there any other comments or questions? ## I AM ON THE NEW OPANA 40MG ER AN THEY FEEL WEAKER THEN THE NEW OXYCONTIN 80MG I WILL BE ASKING MY DR 2 PUT ME BACK ON THE 80MG (op) BEFORE THE OLD OPANA WORK GREAT NOW IT REAL WEAK MY NEAK,BACK LEGS HURT LIK...

PLEASE do not inject op oxy's. I just read all these blogs, and yes we tried it. And guess what happened? My boyfriend's whole body went sooo red and his heart started to hurt, he couldn't breathe, and i thought he was a goner. I think it clogged his veins or something. I called 911 and luckily everything turned out okay. I know you probably won't listen, but I just thought I'd share my story and maybe you'll change ur minds about shooting these. They're dangerous. And the ambulance people said they are NOT injectable pills and are very dangerous. I thought he was going to have a stroke or a heart attack, which he just may have. ## Thank you, Chrissy! This type of problem is something I always try to warn people about on here. Pills, especially time released ...

BEST METHOD {edited for safety} DO WITH IT AS YOU WILL IT IS THE BEST METHOD I FOUND ## And none of these methods are safe, since these tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally expelled in your waste. Regardless of what you try to do, to process the tablets, some of these fillers will still remain and you will be putting them into your body in a way, in which, it cannot process them out. This can cause blockages, which could lead to extreme health problems, such as strokes or embolisms. Are there any questions or comments? ## do you scrap the whole pill to a powder or just the coating? ## It burnt 40 bucks down the drai now what did i do wrong do u scrape the whole pill or just the green coating ## did it still gel up l...
