I used Canex V during my fertile period for thrush infection due to antibiotics. Is it possible to still be able to get pregnant while you are using it. ## From what I could gather, Canex V contains the active ingredient Clotrimazole, which is an anti-fungal medication. So yes, it is normally used to treat things such as yeast/thrush infections. Regarding it's use during pregnancy, Clotrimazole topical has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. In which case animals who were given high doses intravaginally have not revealed evidence of teratogenicity. However, high "oral" doses resulted in embryotoxicity and maternal toxicity. In clinical trials involving women in their second and third trimester, Clotrimazole treatment of vaginal candidiasis was not associated wi...

My urine levels are 23,000 for adderall , i have hep c could this be why they are high ? ## Hi Denise, The presence of hepatitis C affecting your levels could be one theory, depending on the health of your liver. According scholarspace.jccc.edu, both Adderall XR and IR are metabolized through the liver, and from what I could gather, nih.gov also indicates that hepatitis C can result in liver damage (decreased liver function). So putting two and two together, this leads me to believe that liver simply isn't metabolizing the Adderall as quickly; potentially causing it to accumulate with frequent dosing. However, I'd still be interested to hear feedback from other individuals who may going through something similar. I hope this helps!

I took a suboxone 8mg and I have some serious pain. Will vicodin work on the pain or not? I am not looking to feel high, this pain is horrible. ## Hi Cheryl, Sorry to hear about your challenges with pain. From what I'm reading in other related discussion threads here, the general consensus I've gathered is that most patients recommend waiting an estimated 48 to 72 hours to reap the full effectiveness of their pain meds after Suboxone. This is in part due to Buprenorphine's long half life of 24-60 hours (est.), which has a higher affinity than other opioids on your receptors. I hope this helps! ## i have been taking 80 mg of oxycontin and 60 mg of oxycodone day for 7 years due to back pain.i stopped last week and started suboxene. Can you take Tylenol with Diclofenac sod 100mg to relieve lower back pain? ## From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions or contraindications listed between Tylenol and Diclofenac. So based on that information, you should be fine taking the two together without experiencing any such complications. The main concern with Tylenol (acetaminophen) in my honest opinion, is just staying within safe dosing limits, due to it's notorious reputation for causing liver damage at higher doses and/or when taken for a prolonged period of time. I hope this info helps. Get well soon! ## i am taking nexito forte is it any indication in blood result such as show hepetitise ## My Dr. said that taking a diclofenac and one tylenol and the same time boosts the pain relief. My blood test came back with high levels of potassium. I took Meloxicam, 15mg and am hoping that is the reason. I took it almost a week before the blood test ## Hello, SEC! How are you? How high was it? It really shouldn't cause it to be elevated a week after taking it. Are you on anything else that adds potassium? Do you eat a lot of foods that add it? Are you taking any supplements? Do you drink a lot of fortified drinks, like Gatorade? Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.

could someone please tell me if a person has been using 8mg dilaudad just once a day, basically for the high, on a regular basis for over 4 months will they experience a hard withdrawal by quitting cold turkey and if so for how long? ## From what I could gather, the severity of Dilaudid withdrawal symptoms depends on the dosage and length of time the individual has been using the drug. Dilaudid withdrawal can peak in as little as 9 hours, but typically peaks in 14 to 21 hours after cessation of use. Symptoms typically resolve in 36 to 72 hours. Users taking high doses of Dilaudid over an extended period of time may experience painful withdrawal lasting up to two weeks with symptoms including constant shaking, cold sweats, diarrhea, vomiting, muscle pain, body cramps, and insomnia. what is the diffrence between BUT/ASA/CAF50-325 -40TAB WEST-WARD AND BUT/APAP/CF50-500-40TAB QUALITE I DONT UNDERSTAND THE 325 AND 500 ## That is the amount of Acetaminophen in them, one has 325mgs and the other has 500mgs. The amount of it is sometimes different in medications that use it, due to the fact that it enhances the effects of the drugs it is coupled with, so one with a higher dose of it may help more than the one with the lower. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi monica, The meaning of ASA abbreviation is "Aspirin", and the meaning of APAP abbreviation is "Acetaminophen". That said, the primary difference between these two medications is that the 325mg is Aspirin, while the 500mg is Acetaminophen. From what I could gather, there aren't many dif...

Lubeluzole Drug Index

Lubeluzole (Prosynap) is a drug which acts as an indirect NMDA antagonist. It inhibits the release of glutamate, inhibits nitric oxide synthesis, and blocks calcium and sodium gated ion channels.[1] It has neuroprotective effects particularly in hypoxic conditions,[2][3] and was developed for the treatment of stroke.[4] Trials showed it to be safe, effective and well tolerated at low doses, but unfortunately higher doses produced...

I am taking a blood-thinner called Clopidogrel bisulfate (Plavix oral) 75mg, I also have a vitamin d deficiency so I am taking vit d 50,000 iu d2 (ergo) caps (RX). Can these medicine be taken with Tramadol, and Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-500 mg tablet. I am also a predibetic. ## Hi Victoria, It looks like you posted your question twice within the same paragraph. However from what I could gather, there are a couple serious drug interactions that you should be aware of. The first being between the Hydrocodone and Tramadol combination. I found a small orange pill with sm on one side and a line to cut it in half on the other in my step sons gym bag. Looked it up could not find it anywhere on web Please help ## Hi Joey, From what information I could gather, this pill is supposed to be DBol, also known as Dianabol. Dianabol is a very strong oral and injectable steroid; so it may be in your best interest to keep that pill away from your step son. Controversially, I am unable to verify that this identification is 100% spot on, due to the lack of available information on it. However it does appear to be the only possible result based on my research. Hopefully someone else on here who has the pill can verify that this is correct, but I wouldn't take any chances with the high likelihood.

Some otherwise 'alarming' information that I gathered states however that: "these Cough-and-cold products have not been shown to be safe or effective in children younger than 6 years. Therefore, do not use this product to treat cold symptoms in children younger than 6 years unless specifically directed by the doctor. Hello, I'm on day four of Belviq and I still feel really hungry especially sweets ## Hi Melissa, From what I could gather, Belviq (lorcaserin) is meant to be used together with diet and exercise to treat obesity. However, if you aren't feeling satisfied with your daily caloric intake, it sounds to me like you may need to make some adjustments to the portion sizes that you do eat throughout the day. When it comes to sweets though, I personally find that increasing my protein intake helps cut down on these types of cravings. There are numerous types of whole-food meal replacement bars available at natural grocery stores that are both sweet and also have a higher protein content to help curb your appetite. Additionally, eating more sweet fruits (such as medjool dates) are another e...

My doctor switched me from Percocet 10/325 to Butrans 15mg. I've been taking the 10/325 for about 6 years. 5-6 pills a day. I am scared to death that the 15mg Butrans is too high? Or that I will go into withdrawal. Please help. Thank you. ## Hi Sparkles, Sorry to hear about your situation. From what I could gather, Buprenorphine is listed as the active ingredient in Butrans. This medication can pull Perocet off your receptors (causing withdrawal) if you're not at least somewhat off of it yet, so I can understand why you're probably hesitant to make the switch. If you find this transition to be too difficult, I would even ask your doctor to help you taper down first to make things easier on you. That may end up taking longer, but as you probably know these medications are no ...

May I take mucinex while I am currently taking lisinopril, hctz, metformin, and zocor? ## Hi Beth, From what I could gather, Mucinex does not have interactions with any of those medications. Oddly enough though, my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrochlorothiazide/Lisinopril and Metformin. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Before taking hydrochlorothiazide, tell your doctor if you also use Metformin. Hydrochlorothiazide can cause high blood sugar and interfere with glucose control. You may need a dose adjustment and you may need to check your blood sugar more often if you take both medications. Hydrochlorothiazide can also cause lactic acidosis while you are using Metformin. Symptoms of lactic acidosis include unusual m...

As far as I was told its used in some cases as a treatment for high blood pressure due to portal hypertension. I'm not 100% positive but I think if the person is not able to take other blood pressure meds that would result in extremely low and dangerous side effects and not help the actual issue. I'm no doctor but pretty well informed on this med. ## From what I could gather, a round yellow pill imprinted with m171 is reportedly identified as Nadolol (40 mg).
