Can Percocet Hydrocodone

Im wondering why I would be able to take darvacett & percocetts but I cant take vicodin. Arent theese medications all the same? Would the fact that I have a codeine allergy make a difference? I have been on percocet 10/325. My little two new generation pharmacy has been closed since Thursday due to the holiday I am out of percocet can i take my hydrocodone 10/325 until late I can get my prococet? Have been taking pain meds for 8 years due to terrible back. Have had 4 back surgeries with 3 of them since 2014, the last one was August 2016 which was spinal fusion L4/5 with screws, plate, rod and pins! Also suffer from fibromyalgia which is bad this time of year. I have been taking percocets 10mg x 6 daily since last surgery. Last week switched from pain management to primary physician due to cost and drive an hour away. Am now been switched to hydrocodone 10mg 4 x a day and tramadol 50mg 2 x a day. My husband's pain management doctor is wanting to switch him to percocet. He is currently taking hydrocodone 10mg 7x/day. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. Is it safe to start taking the hydrocodone 6 hours after taking Percocet 7.5/325? ## Usually, you can switch cleanly from one to the other, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. I was taking 5-6 10/325 percocet a day and my new dr gave me 90 1 3xs a day but I'm having trouble so was taking a percocet then 4 hrs later a norco and alternating like that today. Is it safe to take a percocet then a norco until the withdrawal gets better? ## Hello, Sherryl! How are you? The main concern here is the amount of Acetaminophen you are ingesting each day, more than the opiates, as hard as that may be to believe. In theory, you should still be within limits, which the FDA lists as being 3,000mgs a day, but it is always best to extra careful and not do this, unless your doctor approves. What type of withdrawal symptoms are you experiencing? The NIH lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fever, chills, rebound pain, anxiety, depression, and diarrhea.

I will like to know what is a strong pain killer that I could talk yo my dentist, I got 12 teeth pulled out @ once and I been hurtting so bad, can't eat or sleep. I have a throbbing pain, they gave me loracet 10/650. Its just not helping, I had taking vicodin for a long period if time due to allot if kidney problems, stones & infections. What is the difference between hydrocodone, and oxycodone? For example is five milligrams of each equal to each other? I have taken 8mg orange suboxone tablet over the course of 3 days. I regularly take hydrocodone for chronic pain and a torn labrum in my hip. My last dose of suboxone was at 9am this morning, can I take hydrocodone tomorrow afternoon? Will it help my pain? I had surgery in May for disc replacement in C5 and C6 and was taking 10-325mg of Norco for pain, on October 12th I had a disc replaced in L5-S1 and my surgeon put me on 10-325mg of Percocet and Valium 10mg. I have been depressed at home and went to my primary care doctor who prescribed 7.5-500mg of Lortab, I was taking the other meds 2 every 4 hours for pain and have been dropped to 1 Lortab every 4-6 hours, this is not controlling my pain, my doctor feels I have been taking the Percocet for too long, 2 months, he also took me off my Valium 10mg and changed it to Klonopin 1mg, half to 1 pill twice a day, I have been in a lot of pain for a few days now since changing dosages and feel anxious and depressed, is this acceptable or should I go talk to my surgeon again and have my meds chang...

I am trying to substitute for 10/650 Percocet. When I see my MD soon, I was going to ask for the equivalent Percodan instead ( afraid of liver damage after many years )...will I have problems adjusting and what is Percodan equivalent to (3) 10/650 Percocets day? this dose was prescribed by my pain Dr for ra. I do not tolerate any of the oxy drugslike Percocet I hallucinate. theprescribed dose of hydrocodone is not cutting the pain. it's ok to take another if I'm still in pain after one hour? ## If your meds aren't working, talk to the pharmacy first. Ask if they changed manufacturer? Keep a ear out for aurobindo or aurolife....
