I was on methadone and haven't had any since monday. I've been taking percocet to help with withdrawal. I took 10 mg of percocet at about 4:00 this morning. take 2 mg suboxone daily. Ran out of suboxone so took 3 5 mg percocet about 15 hours ago. Am i ok to re- induce my suboxone again? I took a 1/4 of a suboxone a friend had given me around 6:00 pm today. How long do I have to wait until I can take a Percocet for pain and not get it and have it work? ## 1/4 of a suboxone isn't a very detailed description how many MG's was the strip?(i know this is an old comment but whatever) ## I know this topic is a few weeks old, but I do agree with josh (post #1) in that the answer to the original thread question would largely depend on how many milligrams of Suboxone you're taking. Based on some other cases I've seen, I'd take a shot in the dark and say it may be up to a week before it's out of your body. I am addicted to opiates. Mostly Oxycodone, and Vicodin if I can't find my drug of choice. I am also prescribed Klonopin, 1mg 2X a day. A couple days ago, someone gave me 1 10mg Methadone because I was sick from not having my D.O.C. I was told not to take my Klonopin though because the mixture could be deadly. However I've just learned that mixing other opiates with Methadone can hurt you as well. So I took the methadone Saturday evening. Sunday I took Vicodin throughout the day, but did not take my Kpin. All day today I have been doing Percocet. I have done about 80mgs over the period of 5 hours. I also took my Klonopin today. I just learned today that methadone has a long half life, and that it probably is still in my body because it is only 3 days since I took it. My question......

Ihave been on methadon for 12 days and now i am off... whn will it e sae to take percocet ## I was on methadone for twelve days been off for two <when can i take a percocet ## I have been off methadone for two days after taking it for 12 days , whan can i take a percocet ## You can take it right now. For me the ideal dose of oxycodone is about 30mgs. Glad to see your off of the methadone. Ive detoxed cold turkey several times in my life and it is difficult. Most people cry and cry about their withdrawal. Man-up .... it is not something that cannot be done by yourself. Just takes willpower. ## Since there are interactions found between these two medications, I would suggest waiting till the Methadone is "completely" out of your system before taking the Percocet.
