I took 4mg of sub's at midnight and another 4 at 8am. This is the first time I've taken it in several months. How long till opiates will work again? ## I have done it before within the same day....6 to 7 hours apart actually and I felt fine!! This is simple. I've been on suboxone for five years. I'm clean. I took opiates for thirty years. Methadone was the kinky way out and frankly doesn't work for the same reason subutex rarely works. You can still take opiates on top of both. Suboxone has a blocker. It is easy knowing you can't feel high. I still go to therapy and meetings. Beats being deaf. Good luck. ## Hello, Anfy! I have been on 8 mg/2mg Suboxone strips for 1 year. I am having a tooth (back molar) extraction in the morning. I used my Suboxone strip this morning & the tooth extraction is at 9:30 am tomorrow. If I don't use another Suboxone strip before the extraction, would I be able to take Hydrocodone after my surgery? I was wonder if I can take Aulin even if I am taking Suboxone madication. I got injury 2 weeks ego and I do have a strong pain in my leg, so my girlfriend, which she is Italian, has: Aulin Drug. So she will like give me that for my pain... ## Aulin is not an opiate, so the Suboxone would probably not cancel out the pain killing effects of this medication. Being a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), it can be hard on the liver and stomach, and should be taken with care.
