I took a very slim strip of soboxone last night for the first time. Its been 15 hours ago. Is it ok to take a norco 10 now ? ## Hello, Van! How are you? I take one tablet of hydrocodone/apap 5-352 mg, but when I go to bed and wake up in 4 hours I can't get back to sleep. If i take two norcos 5/325 with my 60 mg dose of methadone, will i feel it? ## Nope probably not. I never do "feel it" but if you are looking for pain control it still works better than tylenol/Advil with the methadone. Any narcotics are hard to "feel" while on Methadone. ## Wont feel it at all, its like taking your pills and throwing right out your window...dont waste your time... ## Laurie, I am a clinical pain management pharmacist. I used Bactrim; it takes more time to work than clindamycin. It has taken four days for the swelling to go down, but it has gone down and is almost normal now. I have double strength pills and will take them 2x a day for ten days. I also used the clove oil on my gums and that is working very well. They are going from red to pink again. I was prescribed Percocet in the hospital. In the hospital they were giving me 2 every 4 hours. I continued that at home. Today when I ran out I looked at the bottle and I was supposed to switch to one every 4 hours. They also prescribed Norco 5 for after I finished the Percocet, so since I didn't have any I started the Norco today. I am in pain and they aren't working. I didn't sleep at all last night. What do I do? ## You don't say what mg the Percocets were but Norco is a totally different medication, it is not as strong as the Percocets. In my experience Advil works better than Norcos. ## The percocets were 5 and the norcos are 5. I have had gastric bypass so I cannot take NSAIDS. If excedrin pm and aleve are combined, what happens ## It depends on the amount that is combined. Large amounts of it could cause severe organ damage and/or a fatal overdose. However, a normal dose will usually just result in upset stomach, headache, vomiting and stomach irritation. You may also get really drowsy and dizzy. In general, they really shouldn't be combined, because you are combining medications that all do the same things, so it isn't necessary. The Excedrin PM contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine: and the Aleve contains Naproxen: Also, combining them regularly can result in organ damage, or stomach conditions such as ulcers and gastritis. can i die from taking 400mg of ibupofen ## If you're allergic to it or sensitive, it's a possibility, but otherwise it is very unlikely if you're a person of normal health. The amount in most over the counter tablets, such as Advil or Motrin is 200mg and people can take 2 of them at a time, if needed, for pain. round white pill with L405 on one side and 500MG on the other side ? ## Well, this is NOT Percocet, nor any type of narcotic medication. Pills marked with an L, followed by a set of numbers are manufactured by LNK International, they only make over the counter items that are sold by various stores as their store brands or generics. They make anything from generic versions of Tyelnol, Advil, and Benadryl as well as many others. This one marked L 405 is sold under the name XS Pain Reliever Tablets, nothing more than a generic extra strength version of Tylenol, so it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Most definitely NOT a Percocet.

I found a normal size round Orange pill with 1 over 2 with .a line between them. There is nothing on the back. I have taken various anti anxiety med and am unsure if this may be one or something that had turned up by someone else. Not xanax or ibuprofen I am sure. My mother (age 69) received a Reclast infusion 36 hours ago. She currently has a fever of 101.8 and has the chills and has felt shaky. She has called her primary care doctor and the doctor who prescribed Reclast but since it's after hours she can only talk to their help lines. They said to head to the ER only if her fever reaches 103 degrees. They said she can take Advil or Tylenol for the fever. I read on the FDA site that Reclast can affect the kidneys so I'm suggesting Tylenol for her (since that's processed in the liver not the kidneys). I also read she should drink a lot of water. I have recently been suffering a MAJOR sinus infection...let me start off my saying I have taken tylenol and advil for all of my adult life...the 'hardest drug' has been Tylenol 3 with codeine. I am posting here becuase yesterday I went to the hospital, because I was in sooooooo much pain...They checked me out and ended up giving me a shot of morphine....a 5 mg shot to be exact. Is that a lot of a little?? I am very tall and weigh about 250 pounds.....but i didnt feel a thing!!! When I hear people talk about morphine, it seems like they were living high on a cloud....and for me, I didn't feel stoned AT ALL......I drove home from the hospital...and then I took 2 percs which I had at home....and still didnt feel relief.....is this normal?? What are other people's tolerance...

I got a horrible cold/flu and my heart rate keeps going over 100 - psvt has returned. I am taking metoprolol in desperation. Please help. Has anyone else ever had this happen? I can't take any medication for fear of starting a psvt. I have taken Advil. ## Whenever you are sick with a condition that can affect your breathing and circulation, it causes your heart to have to work harder to pump enough blood to your organs, so it can be normal for your respiratory rate, heart rate, and blood pressure to become elevated. I have a gum infection due to my wisdom tooth growing in but it is just the gum, not my tooth. I was in pain and my dentist told me to take Amoxicillin, he also told me that it may be painful and that i should take advil with it if i cant bare the pain. It has now been 1 day and i have taken 3 Amoxicillin pills in total. I woke up this morning and my gum was very swollen and in a lot of pain. I am also having a very rough time swallowing anything, even my own saliva.
