Can I Take Hydrocodone And Celebrex

I take hydrocodone 7.5 325 for pain from degenerated disks in spine and I take celebrex 200 for arthritis pain and inflamation, is there any problem with this? One medication alone does not take care of my problem. ## It is common for drs to prescribe an opiate and something for inflammation. ## @Marcia, Most research I'm finding doesn't indicate that there are any interactions between Hydrocodone and Celebrex. However, one report I came across does imply that using the two together may increase the plasma concentration and effects of Hydrocodone; and that your doctor should monitor your blood levels in case a dosage adjustment is deemed necessary. Can I safely use Phentermine while I take hydrocodine 10-325, Celebrex 200, Avapro 150. All 1x pd? I'm very overweight. This helped me lose weight in the past and eliminates BP meds + more. I started on prednisone for extreme knee and hip pain. Can't sleep. No relief yet. Can I take hydrocodone? I took Tylenol several hours ago with no relief from that either. ## I was put on Celebrex, 200 mg, for severe hip pain and arthritis. Can't mix Advil (only Tylenol) which does nothing for me. Tried cutting a 5/300 Vicodin in half and that sure helped take the edge off. Am going to discuss further with my neuromuscularskeletal doctor. Trying to avoid an epidural shot and surgery. I used Celebrex for post dental surgery pain. After a few days of use, I suffered acute pansinusitis (all sinuses were infected and blocked), and after a week of use, I suffered a breakout of urticaria (skin rash) over most of my body. Not such pleasant side effects. And it cost me some days out of work. When the Celebrex worked, it worked well, but unfortunately the side effects are cause for concern. Studying the leaflet, I discovered that there a wide range of possible side effects, so whatever system/s are weak in your body (skin and sinuses in my case) get affected first. Be careful to all. ## Why didn't they give you some hydrocodone (Vicodin) for the pain and take OTC Aleve for anti-inflammatory. No bad side effects with those two.
