Worried about deadly effect of Vicodine. I do suffer from extreme pain from Gout and extreme bunions. ## The 5gs of Hydrocodone in this is a narcotic opiate and is coupled with 325gs of Acetaminophen. However, the only way it would really be deadly is if someone had a severe allergy to one of the ingredients or if you would overdose on it. The normal side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions? ## Buy the book one minute cure. Then buy jutrian rx blue. My doctor just switched my vicoden and i wanted to know which is stronger the 5-500 pills or the 5-325 pills? ## If you are asking about the Hydrocodone, then neither is stronger, at 5mgs, they are both the same strength. The only thing different about them is the amount of APAP, which is medical speak for Acetaminophen. The one that says 325 only contains 325mgs of it and the one that says 500 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. please tell me the differenc between these 2 drugs. ## Though the difference is rather irrelevant now in most countries, I'll still cover the basics, since someone else may be curious. The Propoxyphene with Acetaminophen was a generic for Darvocet, it was a very mild narcotic pain reliever. Learn more Darvocet details here. The Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a much more potent narcotic pain reliever that's often better known by the brand names Vicodin, Norco and Lortab. Both risk being habit forming and have similar side effect profiles that may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Lortab details here. However, due to the risk of cardiac dangers and the inordinate numbers of overdose fatalities, Propoxyphene and all of its relatives ha... ...

hydrocodone 10 325 - Works well for me - Having trouble with Doctors prescribing it now.
5 Replies RSS
I have been on different dosages of Norco/Vicodin for about 5 years, since I recovered from a serious illness. Over time, my doctors and I have tried an enormous amount of different combinations of drugs to relieve the chronic pain along with the other symptoms. I finally found a combination that works for me, however I'm having difficulty with doctors prescribing the hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-325. Is this because of the rise in illegal sales of the drug? I used to be on 4 a day and now with the Lyrica and low dose Voltaren, 2 a day works excellent. I haven't been this productive, or felt even remotely useful for so long. Are there any substitutes equivalent to the Norco, or even close that doctors aren't so hesitant to prescribe? ## Hello, Jo! How are you? Yes, new regul... ...

Why cost increase if they are adding less ingredients and what will they look like, did not pick up due to cost increase...pharmasist said government increased prices Jan 1 has anyone else run into this???? ## Hello, Cici! How are you? No, the government doesn't set the price. It's just my opinion, but my best guess is that your pharmacist was just making up an excuse for the price increase. What really happened is that due to mandatory manufacturing limits, a shortage almost always occurs toward the end of the year and usually is rectified about mid-January of the new year. That coupled with the fact that any with the higher amount of Acetaminophen in them have been discontinued just made the problem even worse and resulted in a price increase. If you can't afford the medic... ...

Can I take different kinds of hydrocodos
1 Reply RSS
I have two hydrocodos 500/5mg and one of 500/7.25mg can I mix them together? Please help someone ??!!! ## These aren't different kinds, since they both contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, they are just different dosages. And no, you shouldn't combine them, unless your doctor has specifically said that it's safe for you to do so. On top of the possibility of overdosing on the narcotic, you could also overdose on the Acetaminophen, if you take too much in any 24 hour period. Learn more Vicodin details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. can i take tylenol 3 and norco at the same time
1 Reply RSS
Can I take a norco and Tylenol 3 at the same time I am passing kidney stones and in pain very bad pain!! ## No, you shouldn't combine them, that could cause you to ingest a toxic amount of Acetaminophen, since it's in both of these medications. Too much Acetaminophen could cause liver damage or liver failure and an overdose has the potential to be fatal. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Additionally, you'd be doubling up on narcotics, since the Tylenol 3 contains Codeine and the Norco contains Hydrocodone. They can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which could cause shallow breathing, lowered heart rate and lowered blood p... ...

For chronic back pain, I been taking. 126 hydrocodone which makes me sleepy, ware. M 357 didnot. Would. 7.325 be as good as. M 357? My point is, 7.325 strong? ## Hello, London! How are you? How long have you been taking the ones with the 126 marking? They do have a lower amount of Acetaminophen in them, than the others that you were taking. Thus, your tiredness could actually be due to some slight withdrawal effects, since they aren't as potent and it may take a couple weeks for your body to adjust. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if it is causing you a severe problem, then please consult your doctor as you may need a dosage adjustment. Is... ...

This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. Because I am not a doctor the most I can tell you is that, based on what I've read, these two medications are regarded as being safe to take together and shouldn't present any problems outside of the normal side effects associated with each medication. taking one for tooth pain not helping can I take two is that safe every six hours ## Hi, Thinker! Sorry about the pain you're having. This is a generic for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and others, which means that the Hydrocodone is a narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Additionally, the Acetaminophen can be toxic, if too much is taken in a day, so I have to say I wouldn't recommend doubling up, unless your doctor or dentist has specifically said it's okay for you to do so. I want to know if you can only take Tylenol because of surgery in a few days can I take hydro's for something a little stronger? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? If you have been told that you should only take Tylenol/Acetaminophen, then that is all you should take. There are reasons for it, due to the bleeding and possible interactions with anesthesia that some other drugs can cause. And Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so yes, it could cause some problems. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. White Oblong Scored Pill With V On One Side And 3595 on the other side? My Rx bottle says it is hydrocodone 7.5/500. Is that what it is?
2 Replies RSS
My Rx bottle says Hydrocodone 7.5/500. The pill is a white oblong scored pill with V on one side and 35 95 on the other side. Is that the correct medication that my bottle indicates? ## That is the correct medication, but not the correct dosage on the Acetaminophen, this tablet actually contains 650mgs of it, rather than the 500mgs that you say it has on your bottle, however, the dosage of the Hydrocodone is correct at 7.5mgs. This is a narcotic pain reliever, the generic for Vicodin. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any comments or questions? ## Qualitest Hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5mg combined with paracetamol 650mg is the result I came up with. IP110/ I almost made a huge mistake

Not long ago I was given by the pharmacy a Norco IP110. Where as I had pushed this bottle aside and forgot it, I was dumb these are The same as M367 which is norco, Opiate pain relief. I as well was at my aunts she had thrown about 50 of them away, she thought they were tylenol from the generic at walmart, though I had stopped her. My point, when the pharmacy gives you NEW SHAPED pills and or color etc... They often forget to post the bottle. I almost made a very big mistake. The way things are in the world Opiates are hard to get perscribed and I for one allergic to everything but this, LOOK at the bottle question the pharmacy. ## Yes, that is correct, both tablets you mentioned contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, or Norco. if you take 3 neurotin is it a lortab
1 Reply RSS
If you take 3 neurotin is it the same as lortab ## Hello, Silversllider! How are you? No, they are not even close to being the same thing. Lortab contains Acetaminophen coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. But Neurontin contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that can also help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders, so it is not an actual analgesic. You actually need to take it regularly for awhile in order for it to have any therapeutic effect, it won't start working within minutes as a narcotic does. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Can Norco EQ 5/325 mg and Motrin EQ 800mg be taken at the same time or do I need to space them apart?
1 Reply RSS
I just had eye surgery and was given Norco (4x a day) and Motrin (3x a day) to take for pain, can I take them at the same time or do I need to space them out? ## Hi Chris, Hope you're recovering well from the surgery. From what I could gather, there are no drug interactions listed between Norco (acetaminophen + hydrocodone) and Motrin (ibuprofen). So I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to take them both together if that's what you need to do in order to achieve adequate pain relief. Also as long as it's the same doctor who prescribed both, I think that he/she would've informed you up front of any possible risks involved with doing so if there really were serious consequences to be had. I hope this helps! ...
