Can I Inject Norco

how to crush and liquifiy pills ## This is a very dangerous practice for several reasons, that said, we could not allow such instructions to be posted on our website. Pills are not intended to be injected. Many of them contain fillers and inactive ingredients that are not meant to be used by the human body. Normally they are expelled in your waste, if you dissolve and inject the tablets, you are putting these substances directly into your body where it cannot get rid of them. This can create dangerous blockages. On top of that, you also run the risk of overdose, which could cause serious organ damage or death. Norco is a narcotic pain reliever that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. If you are experiencing pain and the tablets do not help when you use them in a normal manner, pleas...

Just curious if people crush them. Not sure if norcos are time released or not! ## No, they are a regular release formulation so crushing to make them easier to swallow, or cutting them to take a lower dose is fine, unless your doctor, or pharmacist has instructed you otherwise. However, due to the fillers that can be used in tablets, it is not safe to do so for injecting or snorting them. ## I've crushed and snorted them...they have kinda peppery taste/smell,but it can be done :)

Is there any way to inject norco instead of snorting it? ## It should be taken orally, as intended. Trying to use medications in a manner for which they aren't intended is not only illegal, but very dangerous. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. If you inject or snort a tablet, you are placing these substances into your body in a manner in which it cannot properly process them out. This creates the risk of blockages with may lead to stroke or embolism. This risk is on top of the risk of overdosage. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm still having severe pain after taking 800mg of Advil pm. It's been an hour. Can I take a 10/325 norco? ## Hello, Rachel! How are you? Why did you take so much of the Advil PM? That's not safe, so no, it would not be a good idea to mix it with the Norco. Both the Diphenhydramine in the Advil PM and the Hydrocodone in the Norco can cause depression of the central nervous system, so it could be very dangerous. Norco: This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Hi my name is dawn, I have been in pain for years. Had back surgery last year. I was before the surgery and also now getting injections in my lower back. I'm still in so much pain.im taki...

Hi there, if you have been on this pill IP109 and Norco for a number of years & it no longer is helping... instead of increasing the dose myself like alot of us do..Should I talk to my Dr about raising me up to a 7.5 or a 10mg because the Physical Therapy & Trigger Point Injections (TPI) are not helping that much and are actually causing more pain & discomfort. Thank you. Love & Light your way!!!! ## Hello Denise! How are you? Yes, it is never safe to increase the dosage on your own, additionally, if you run out early, your doctor may be afraid that you're abusing your medication, which could cause them to refuse to continue prescribing it for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause si...

I had NORCO left from previous Dr about 4 months prior. On my visit this month I had taken the Norco because pain was so bad. My nurse did a drug urine test on that day. Will I fail my drug test because of the Norco I had taken?? ## Just be honest I'm sure the doc will understand ## Yes, you should pass with no problem both Percocet & Narco tabs are classified as opioids. Best of luck to you! ## Oxycontin, Percocet and Norco? You should also use a pain patch on the site of injection to make you feel even better. Truthfully you are an addict. ## WOW! It is so hard to get a Dr here where I live to even give you hydrocodone. I have vascul...

I have had 4 series of 3 injections in my back which did NOT help at all as well as surgery (two hemi discectomies in my lower back) which helped my sciatica but now it's coming back and my surgeon says he can't do any more surgery. I've had a trial of a spinal cord stimulator which didn't help at all and I have a tens unit. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, lower back pain and worsening sciatica. I've been taking Norco 10/325 and Neurontin which helps the most, but my family doctor wants me to find a pain management doctor to prescribe these meds now. I am 53. Does anyone know of a good physician who is not afraid to prescribe these medications in this area. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. ## Hello, Beth! How are you? That may enable people that know a good doctor in your area to make a recommendation. Additionally, are you asking for medications right away? If you are, then most doctors will see that as drug seeking behavior and will react by not prescribing anything. If you've take...

Hi everyone, I'm gonna make this short and sweet. I had lower back issues, then I had surgery and now the pain is worse. I need a MD/PA that will help me with pain and prescribe Norco, Xanax, and Soma. If you know any in Houston and surrounding areas, please respond. ## Those are 3 drugs which are very hard to obtain. Why not look into a pain clinic in the area? ## That's where the long story comes in. I have been to 3 pain management specialist. All required physical therapy, epidural corticosteroid injection, facet injections and two of the the 3 required rhizotomy. Not to mention all the x -rays/ MRIs and diagnostics that I have taken so many times. Then you have to wait for the doctors schedule to get relief. All that being said here is one example: I went in to one doctor w...

I have chronic knee pain and was once prescribed Norco 5/325. I only took a couple a day and my knees felt great. Almost 2 years later and my Dr or my ortho Dr will not perscribe them for me. I'm looking for a Dr in the Bloomington Indiana area that could help. ## You need to see a Pain Management Dr. Norco is now a Schedule II drug and even though any Dr can prescribe it (or any other Schedule II) for chronic pain, many are referring patients to Pain Drs. ## I recently contacted a pain management DR and I was informed that he only treats with injections. ## Some do and some treat with both, or just meds depending on the situation. You may just have to make an appointment and go see one. There is no way to know how a Dr will treat each patient. But calling and only wanting meds is a...

I have xanax, klonopin, restoril, seroquel, prozac and norco. Taking orally is no longer effective. Can they be taken via injection? ## None! Do not ever use any pills intravenously. your veins will be f***ed and you'll die because theres ingredients that do not dissolve in water "or blood" ## Editor's Note: This thread has been locked because it violates our terms of use.

I've taken gabapentin, norco, and then oxycodone. I was taken off the oxycodone recently because I was talking the max six pills a day and my pain was still unbearable. I have five bulging disc and a pinched nerve in my back. I have spinal stenosis. This has caused pain throughout my left side down to my feet. I'm also a diabetic with nerve damage. I'm scared to do multiple rounds of injections in my back. Is there anything I can take to help me at least get some rest. I had to quit my job because I can't sit or stand and the pain is too much ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? There are many other medications to choose from, including Oxycodone in higher doses, without the Acetaminophen. I have bulging disks and sciatica. My pain Dr gave me 7.5 hydrocodone and gabapentin. I went today for my appt but was discharged because my test came back positive for oxymorphone and dilaudid. I have NEVER taken those meds. My Dr wouldn't even see me. Last month they were supposed to do injections but never called for approval until the morning I showed up for the procedure. ## I relapsed recently on herion, but I have a Dr appt tomorrow and they might drug test me. Hello everyone. I'm looking for a PM doc in the San Antonio,TX area that will still prescribe oxycodone. I had failed back surgery for bulging discs seven years ago, tried facet injections, a spinal cord stimulator, and most recently a morphine pump (which about killed me). I'm on two 10mg Norco and my doc gave me oxy in December which actually helped alot and didn't give me any side effects. Now he says he can't prescribe them. Was given Dilaudin which just knocks me out. I'm on full disability because of my back, and I'm a student, wife, and mom, I can't afford to and don't want to be high on pain meds, I just want to have less pain. I guess the DEA has come down hard on these kind of meds, but what about the people who truly need them?! If anyone can h...

Hi, I'm on the 50mcg patch and my Dr. also has me on Norco 10. I want to get off the patch so bad, but I'm fighting a staph infection for the second time in three months. Back in May I had injections in my lumbar, and four days later I was in the hospital with 104 degree fever. I ended up having emergency back surgery to clean out the infection. By the time I went to surgery two days later (because my Dr.'s at the time are idiots) I was septic w/ 105 degree fever. Needless to say, I nearly died. When I finally got out of the hospital the second time, ( with NEW Dr.'s, my Pain Management doc put me on Fentanyl 50, and Dilaudid 2mg 3x a day, I couldn't function. So I asked my Dr to change my meds, she only changed the Dilaudid to Norco 10, one every 4 to six hours. Now...
