Can I Get Triamcinolone Acetonide

I have a 6 month old tattoo and was prescribed this for my psoriasis. Will this affect the tattoos longevity? ## Hi Dez, I noticed there was another discussion thread here asking a similar question and just wanted to share the link with you: Ref - Can I use triamcinolone cream on my new tattoo I've also read reports from others with tattoos who have used steroid creams and didn't experience any fading. However my personal view is that a fading tattoo would probably come secondary to my health; especially since it can be retouched. Have you considered researching any natural alternatives for psoriasis treatment? My brother used to have psoriasis and had success with light therapy. Apple cider vinegar has also been touted as a treatment option. Hope this helps!

i use this cream on my child. i put some on my finger to rub on his body and my finger start itching and a tingle feeling. my finger is now broke out with this white looking substain on my finger itches very bad. ## Did your child's skin break out as well or was it just your finger? It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or side effect to the medication. What's odd is that Triamcinolone is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions. Yet one can experience itching, redness, etc, as a side effect of it. Can i use it inside mu vulva my doctor gave it to me for a yeast infection ## Based on my research, the dosing and administration guidelines note, to apply the cream to the affected area two to four times daily; and to rub in gently. However the precautions also state that it is not recommended for this cream to be used on delicate skin areas like groin, armpits, face, etc; so it may not necessarily be a good idea to apply it directly inside your vulva, but rather on the outskirts of it. In my opinion, it may even be best to contact your doctor for appropriate information on how to apply the dressing. As I'm not sure how important it is for the cream to be directly on location versus being applied on surrounding areas, since it all gets metabolized in a similar manner anyway. I hope...

You should follow your doctor's instructions. Placing a thin later of it inside the nose should allow it to work topically and not result in your actually ingesting it, unless you use far too much. I just want to know when I use it if I can go outside and take in some direct sun on the beach or is it necessary that I remove the product from my body before going out? ## Since it is absorbed into the skin, you actually can't remove it and its effects on sun sensitivity will remain as long as you continue using it. It is best to avoid prolonged sun exposure, but if you have to go out in it, then make sure to use a stronger sunscreen than usual and drink extra water, as long as it is safe for you to do so, to avoid dehydration. Such medications tend to make you much more sensitive to the sun and heat, so not being cautious can create the risk of your burring faster and developing heat stroke or dehydration sooner than...
