Is it safe to take this so early in my pregnancy? ## Based on my research, Betamox (amoxicillin) has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. "Animal studies using 10 times the human dose have failed to reveal any evidence of teratogenicity. Although no controlled data in human pregnancy are available, literature reports of adverse fetal effects are lacking. Amoxicillin is only recommended during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk." I am prescribed Prednizone to treat dizziness - possibly an inner ear infection. Prednizone causes dizziness as well, doesn't it? ## Prednisone is a steroid class medication and yes, it can cause it as a side effect, but only for the duration of time you are using it.
