dilaudid pill m 2
Are 2 mg of diaudid marked m 2 stronger than pink pill marked k 56 known as oxycodone? ## Hello, Dreamy! How are you? No, for each 2mgs of Dilaudid, you'd only need to take 5.33mgs of Oxycodone, so the 10mg Oxycodone tablet is stronger. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

## used for severe pain in initial emergency visit to hospital, ## Is delodid and dilaudid the same thing? Is delodid a slang, it is listed on internet under painkillers, typically in individual testimoies. Have small, oblong light red pill, Wiith an A on one side, 9 scored 0 on the other. Told this was a 10mg delodid prescribed and bought from Walgreens pharmacy. Need to find out what this pill is...thank uou ## Yes, they are the same thing, Hydromorphone, the people typing that are just guessing at the spelling. And that pill is not Dilaudid, it is more than likely something over the counter. There are no Dilaudid pills listed in the U.S. databases with that marking. ## Well, I do know for a fact as I was at the E.R. last night and you CAN take dillaudid orally...... ## What is the st... ...

My doctor put me on 16 mg of Dilaudid. The perscription says Exalgo. Is that a brand name? I was taking oxycotin 40 mg 3 times a day and 10mg perts. 3 times a day. isn't 16 mg a high dose? ## Both Exalgo and Dilaudid are brand names for the narcotic Hydromorphone. As to the 16mgs, it is not really high when you have an opiate tolerance and use high doses of them on a regular basis, which is what you were doing. It does carry the risk of side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Do you have any questions? ## How long does it take for dilaudid to get off your system while pregnant. I am curious as to how often this med. can be taken. currently I take it every 8 hours, but it doesn't last that long. ## I take 6mg diludid suppossitory (2 3mg )with 50 mg Phenegan shots every 3-4 hours for my Gastroparesis Episodes. I have build up a tolerance to the drugs and have to take high doses now. The body does seem to build up immunities to the two drugs and I have to up the doseage about every year. We are trying 75 mg Demerol now instead of diludid to try and break the cycle, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. ## The doctors i have dealt with as to using dilaudid some will let u have 1 mg every 3 hours which doeant last that long 4 me but if i ask for stronger dose they look at me like I am nuts. Or they are afraid I will become addicted to it. Its like figh... ...

 Dilaudid Hydromorphone
Hydromorphone, a more common synonym for dihydromorphinone (not to be confused with dihydromorphine, which is a different derivative of the morphine family), commonly a hydrochloride (brand names Palladone, Dilaudid, and numerous others) is a very potent centrally acting analgesic drug of the opioid class. It is a derivative of morphine; to be specific, a hydrogenated ketone thereof, and comparatively, hydromorphone is to morphine as hydrocodone is to codeine and, therefore, a semi-synthetic ...

can you mix dilaudid and oxycodone
Mite sound like a silly question but I have a desent tolerance to my meds I took 30mg oxycodone its not doin i have and 8mg dilaudid i have never took the to together im just wondering if i should split the dilaudid in half or take as a whole ## Hello, Bhat! How are you? How has your doctor advised you to take them? Both of them risk causing depression of the central nervous systems and taking both will compound the problem, so you may run into dangerously low heart rate and blood pressure. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## how long will it take for my body to process 12 mg of dilaudid a day for 2 1/2 weeks? thanks!! ...

Oxycodone And Dilaudid
What do you do when neither Oxycodone or Dilaudid work for severe lower back pain, due to disc & nerve damage from a fall. I was on Oxycodone for quite some time but apparently built up a tolerence for it, so my doctor switched me to Dilaudid...I have felt like crap all month because I am still in excruciating there anything left to try that is better than these wo? ## You might want to ask about trying the Fentanyl patch (Duragesic) or lollipop (Actiq). It is pretty much the most potent narcotic available, since it is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Fentanyl details here. What was your dosage of Oxycodone and what is the dosage you were given of the Dilaudid? ## my oxycodone dose was 30mg 4 x a day for breakthrough pain. When that did not work anymore the... ...

Is this pill dilaudid?
Hi. I was cleaning my 16 year-old son's room and found a bottle of little, round yellow pills. About 30 of them. My heart sank. I think they are dilaudid or hydromorphone, at least what I've been able to glean from the research I've done. But I am not sure; I cannot find any reference to the inscripted P on one side (4 is on the other) vs. the K or M commonly found with dilaudid. Can anyone help me identify it? ## I am sorry to hear about your findings ... and sadly, yes, the pills which you have described are Dilaudid 4 mg. The manufacturer's product sheet states "DILAUDID 4 mg TABLETS are yellow, debossed with a P on one side and the number 4 on the opposite side." (PDF format, page 18). I wish you and your son the best with this. Do you have any other question... ...

Dilaudid (Hydromorphone)
Does anyone know what class of narcotic dilaudid is in? (Class 1, class 2, etc.) ## Hi Sassie! I'm almost positive it's a class 2 controlled substance. U can look up Dilaudid on the web, and, it will tell u all about it. U can even look it up on this site. ## @Sassie, Just to confirm, Cats is right about Dilaudid being a Schedule II narcotic. According to, substances in this schedule are notorious for their high potential of abuse; which could later lead to severe psychological and/or physical dependence. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dilaudid Details Is this something that your doctor recommended? ...

can I take oxycodone with my dilaudid
I have been taking between 30 -82 mg of oxycodone 3-4 times a day for 3 years and now my doctor wants me to start dilaudid at 8 mg and stop the oxy, but I'm afraid the dilaudid is not equal to the amount of oxy I am on and I will suffer withdrawals. My question is can I take oxy along with the dilaudid so I dont suffer w/d? If so how much oxy can I take? Thank you in advance. ## Hi deliteful, To answer your first question, dilaudid (hydromorphone) doesn't list any drug interactions with oxycodone, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take the two together as long as you inform your doctor about it first. On the other hand, because dilaudid IS reported to be much stronger than oxycodone, it's possible that you may not even need to add oxycodone back into the mix... ...

R they yellow with a line on one side and nothing on the other side ## Hi, Matt! How are you? No, all Dilaudid tablets available on the U.S. market would have an imprint on them, this is required by law to enable their identification in case of emergency. If you have a tablet with no imprint on it, then it is most likely something that's available over the counter. white pill dilaudid m 2
Can the m 2 pill be cut in half and taken? Is it a time release? Is this pill the smallest dosage usually prescribed? ## No, this is not a time released tablet, so it could be cut, if you wish, unless your doctor or pharmacist has specifically told you not to do so. And yes, this is the lowest dosage available in the tablets, it contains 2mgs of the Hydromorphone, which is the active ingredient in Dilaudid, this is actually a generic medication. It is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I got a script from the drugstore for 2mg dilaudid and when I open the bottle there were white ones in there but I saw some cotton in the bottle pulled it out and the rest of the pills were orange whats up with this? Are they ok to take? ## Hi, Wendy! It can be normal for this to happen if your pharmacy ran out of their supply of one and had to add some from a different manufacturer. However, I can't confirm this for you, without knowing the markings that are on the tablets. Learn more Dilaudid details here. Can you post back with this information? Are my dilaudid pills instant release ## Hello, Maxwell! How are you? No, there are no instant release Dilaudid tablets. These are 2mg regular release tablets, so they start working about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. This medication is a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Methadone coverted to dilaudid
I'm on 80 mg Of much dilaudid should I take to equal 80mg of methadone ## Hello, Dan! How are you doing? There is actually no conversion for Methadone to other drugs, it is kind of its own beast. It's known to be very habit forming and can cause severe withdrawal effects, even if someone tries to replace it with something else, so people on it are usually on it for life.
