I received a phone call today from my pharmacy. The Morphine Sulfer I take was recalled back in Aug. Now I am to take my medicine in tomorrow and they will give me fresh. Sounds odd to me. What about all of the medicine I have been taking? Has anyone else had experience with this? What should I do? Thanks, Cindy. ## There was a recall for 30mgs and 60mgs Morphine Sulfate tablets manufactured by the Ethex Corporation back in June, this is due to the danger of overdosing with the tablets. They could release too much medication at once, which could be fatal. If you are wondering why the recall was so long ago and why you are just now hearing about it, it is more than likely because your pharmacy purchased their Morphine stock quite awhile ago. When they order their medications, they usuall...

pain from surgery sucks. I wouldnt take more than ur dose for each day its not worth withdrawing when u run out a few days before u go back to clinic plus if u get a bottle recall they will take ur bottles! They wont want to hear about ur pain or excuses in their mind! U should talk to ur counsler and up ur dose. Methadone is super addictive and very easy to take more than ur daily dose. Hope things work out good luck ## I got called in for a bottle count on a Saturday and I was told that never happens. Am I in trouble or what?

During the late 30's thru the 50's Drug stores sold a medication for pain that was a Red liquid called Red Aspirin. My hometown Roanoke Rapids, NC is the only place I have ever seen this medicine.
