I have this funny weakness/pain that occurs just below the left knee. I feel like my leg will give way and it will collapse. What could be causing this all of a sudden? Thst is the best way I can describe what is happening. When I walk, all of a sudden it feels like it is giving way. It doesn't really hurt but there is definetly a funny feeling/tingle/weak pain. I would apprxiate a response to this but not a ton of email as my computer fills up rapidly and then I won't get any messages. Thanks ## Well, this site is not medical professionals and based on the limited information in your post, we couldn't possibly hope to give you a definite cause or solution. Please suggest me to get rid of calf muscle pain and Treatment in form of tablets. ## Have you consulted a doctor? Proper treatment will depend on getting a proper diagnosis and any other medical conditions you may have, as well as other medications you may be on. If it is just cramping of the muscles, it could be caused by having a potassium deficiency and it might be solved by just taking a supplement for a few days.

Have been on rivaroxaban for 6 months after clots in lung diagnosed was told I would be on it for life. Then clot dispersed after further tests by another hospital thank goodness, so I have come off it. I have had worsening leg pain when in bed that would wake me sometimes 6 times a night. Felt pain deep in calf and developed a varicose vein which swelled only when in bed at night. Was tested for dvt none found. Came off rivaroxaban and ever since stopping it a week ago I have had no pain in leg at night no swelling of vein in leg and only get up on average once during the night. I am convinced it was rivaroxaban causing this problem. ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? It's hard to say for sure, but it is possible that it was due to the medication. After taking Symbicort for about six weeks, I had a night of terrible calf cramps which were so severe that I developed a bruise on my upper calf. I have also developed boil-like lesions under my arm and on my chin. I did not relate it at first to taking Symbicort, but called the doctor and he took me off Symbicort. Are these side effects unusual for taking Symbicort? ## Symbicort contains a steroid, so yes, it can cause such side effects. But the cramps you experienced seem to have been rather extreme and more intense. It's likely your doctor didn't want you to have to keep dealing with that misery. Are you on any other medications? Has the acne started clearing up, yet?

I pulled my calf, so after a week decided to get the injection. I was taking same formula but in pills presentation, which in the past has worked great for back pain. But, the calf injury had a higher strain level, i hate injections but support from my posse i gutted up and took it, i got to say it did not hurt, my doc has great technique. Box contais 3 so will go again tomorrow and day after. Price, like everything in life, several brands, several labs, several prices. From experience i can say lab and store reputation do make difference in meds, so make ur choice. (Uni-dox is one i've used in pill version). Principal compound diclofenaco sodico is an antiinflamatory, the rest are B complex vitamins. Personally i say its safe. Like most meds, not recomended if you are pregnant, hav...

Experiencing Pain in my calf & leg muscles during the daytime. During the night, I wake up with leg muscles twitching. Get up, go to bathroom, back to bed & back to sleep. Cardiologist has had me on 20mg Xarelto/day for approximately 2 years for afib but haven’t had any negative reactions till now. Could Xarelto be the cause? Should I be concerned? ## Yes, there is a chance that it could be due to the medication, but there is no way to give you a definitive answer. The FDA does list its possible side effects as including joint/muscle aches, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. What dosage are you currently taking? Are you on any other medications? How often have you been experiencing these symptoms? ## I’m on 20mg/daily Xarelto. Have been on this ...

I am having pain in the calf zone due to pull of the siatic nerve or so. Is it connected with use of Glycomet SRand Glycomet GPi over long period (of years) to combat diabetics. ## No, it isn't likely that it's due to using the medication, but it may be due to the diabetes itself. If you're blood sugars haven't been under control then it can cause nerve damage. Do you take your medication as prescribed? Do you also watch your diet and check your blood sugar regularly?

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this mediation as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache,...

ive been on sotalol since may of 2011 and my calfs and feet are numb or there just plane tired all the time. it bothers me to walk. i had an ablation of the heart in may. sotalol has improved my heart but my legs and pads of my feet hurt ## Are they swollen at all, or just hurting? Learn more Solatol details here. The reason I am asking is that there is some risk of developing congestive heart failure while taking this medication and that would start with peripheral edema, in most cases. After taking Chantix only three days, I began developing numbness in my calf and foot and achiness in my hip. I immediately stopped taking Chantix, but eight months later, the pain is just starting to subside and the numbness is lessening, but still in my toes. If this is what happens after only three days of Chantix, I feel horrible for the people who took it for a longer period of time and are still in agony. I still smoke, but will try other cessation methods before ever using Chantix again. It is not worth the risk. ## Saw your post and I have PAD. That is a disease that affects you in your legs especially because you are a smoker. I've noticed i have a blotchy rash on my left calf that has the clot. Is that anyway related to the clots or the Xaralto? I also noticed my voice is hoarse,is that a side effect of the medication? ## Hello, Lori! How are you? The rash is a listed side effect, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and easy bruising. However, hoarseness is not, though it does list dry throat and sore throat, which could be causing it. Either way, just in case your having an allergic reaction, you should have these checked out, to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with?
