i am on dialysis for kidney failer. I am also on isosorb mono tab 30 mg . my question is does this medication and my kidneys get along with each other ? ## Hello, Terri! How are you? The only renal side effect listed is possible renal calculus, which translates to kidney stones. So, you do need to be careful of that, because that could affect kidney function. Other typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? Yes, I understand your doubts and you may be right, none of these are really going to help with passing a kidney stone. However, one that small should pass on its own, unless there are some complications that prevent it from doing so. Have you talked to the doctor about why they want you to take these?
