I developed a fever and was prescribed Taxim-O 200mg by my doctor, along with other medications. After taking it for three days, my fever completely subsided. I was instructed to continue the medication for a full week. However, starting from the fourth day, I began to experience side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and headaches. Consequently, I stopped taking the medication on the fifth day. The recommended dose was two tablets per day. ## This is an antibiotic and those can be normal side effects of them, as reported by the U.S. FDA. They can also cause nausea, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Dear Doctor, My son is 2 year and 7 months. he is suffering from loose motion (4-5 times a day) and high fever 100-103c. first doctor given enterogermina (twice a day) + zinconia syrup (5ml a day) + calpol syrum 250mg. but not progress in health. then they asked for stool test and bound bacterias and Pus cells 6-8/Hpf then doctor added septran syrup 5ml twic a day. but unfortunaterly no improvemnet seen in next 3days. then he asked for blood test. blood test result show PLATELET COUNT 5.62Lakh/cmm, ESR 70mm/hr, TOTAL COUNT-14300 CELLS/CUMM and typhoid is negative. now (today) doctor asked us to stop septran and added new medicine TAXIM -O forte syrup twice. we are very worried as it has been 9-10 days and he lost 2kg weight. please guide us best regards ravi

I sufferd from frequent urination.I am female 60 years old. I was advised to take taximO 200 for 5 day +5 days. it has stopped . My Mother has lung cancer. She is taking radiation and Chemo carbo taxol. The Chemo Doctor said do not take Vitamin C with this drug as it will weaken the effectiveness. Is this true? I am a 25 yr breast cancer survivor. A nutritionist at the MD Anderson Clinic in Houston told me to take mega doses of Vit. C while going through my one year of Chemo. I did. I am alive today and I believe the Vit. C helped me. Is there some research on vitamin C and the chemicals given for cancer cure? Thank you!

you feel drowsy, you can't avoid to sleep ## From what I could gather, Taxim-O is a brand of Cefixime. This medication may cause the following side effects: upset stomach diarrhea vomiting mild skin rash headache itching hives difficulty breathing or swallowing wheezing vaginal infection I haven't found anything specifically relating to sleep problems or feeling drowsy, but if you sense that this side effect is becoming too bothersome or severe, I would definitely recommend contacting your doctor as soon as possible to see about other possible alternatives to Taxim-O.
