Ive been on sprintec fo march april. I have not missed a dose and I have taken them on time. ## These oral contraceptives definitely effect everyone differently, but I am curious to know if sprintec has been working well for you? I was just on another thread here and noticed a lady who was taking sprintec, but was very concerned because she had missed her period by a few days or longer. Same thing happened to my gf while she was on it, although I'm fairly certain that she missed a few days of taking it.

Now I am having abdominal pain & not sure what to do & the impact. Should I continue with the existing pack & buy a new one to complete the 7 days or should I start a new pack? ## Abdominal and stomach pain can be normal side effects of the medications included in these packs. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. As to whether or not you need to add more days, or start over, it would be best to check with your doctor to see what they feel you should do. You may not have gotten enough of a dose to fully eradicate the bacteria. Are you on any other...

Has anyone considered that those who have to open those little packets might also have arthritis? They are the most difficult little packets to open. If one didn't have decent fingernails, you couldn't even do it. ## If you let your pharmacy know, they will change the packaging for you to make it easier for you to use it. ## No kidding! YOU TAKE IT FOR ONLY 5 DAYS. YOU START WITH TWO AND THEN TAKE THE REST ## ok ## nothing ## Were you possibly referring to a Z-Pak? It's an antibiotic that is available in a 5 day dosing pack, which contains the active ingredient Azithromycin. Since it is an antibiotic, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, I am not aware of anything at this time that's called a V-Pack, nor have I found any record of there ever being one. There are more Z-Pak details available here for anyone needing more information.

My boxer ate a z-pack pill. He is 85 pounds. What do I do? ## Azithromycin is used to treat canines, as well as people, so there is most likely nothing to worry about, but it would be best to check with your veterinarian. He may experience some side effects from it, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, drowsiness and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My Jack Russell ate my husband's Azithromycin 250 mg pill. Will she be alright? ## Hi Patricia. Sorry to hear about what happened. My question is I have been on sprintec 9 months and my question is Im going to get married and on that week i finsihsh the white pills so my worry is one i start the blue pilss is there a chance i can get pregnet, i dont miss pilss so am curiosu about that. ## No, as long as you haven't missed any pills, you are still protected from pregnancy for the entire month. You should check with your doctor, before doing this, but it's usually safe for most women to just continue the active pills and skip their periods at a time it would be inconvenient to have it, such as right after you get married. To do so, you would just skip the inactive week and move right on to a new pack of pills. Are there any other questions? ## okay my question is not skipping my period cause two days before t...

Has any else noticed the extremely difficult new packaging for Esipram? The genius who came up with this ought to be fired! ## I agree, the packaging is an absolute disgrace and yes the designer of this packaging should be sacked. Does anyone who uses the Foradil aerolizer, who also has arthritis, find it extremely difficult to open the package to get a capsule? ## I spent about 8 minutes trying to peel the six "peel away" seals off my Foradil. I have used the product for over a year, but this last batch seems to have defective adhesive or something,,,I think if you hold the packet in your hand and let it warm up to your body temp it makes it easier, but still a pain. ## I do not have arthritis, but I find the new Foradil packaging to be very aggravating. It can be very tedious and time-consuming to get the capsule out of the package. ## I've lately found it easier to deal with the packaging if I use scissors to cut along the perforated edges of each sleeve of capsules. in prepping for a colonoscopy, i had to half the large bottle of miralax to mix with liquid. large bottle is 8.3, so i went to half that and realized the large bottle contains 12 oz, not 8.3 as labeled.....why???? they say that the 17oz lid has 14 servings (8.3) but i measured out the 14 servings in the lid, and there is still more than 8.3...so do i prep with 8.3 oz or the whole bottle (which everyone assumes is 8.3!!) ## Hello, Jan! How are you? If they told you to use the whole bottle, then that is what you should do, but please double check with your doctor to be sure. I am currently taking Tri Sprintec but currently ran out of refills. I was suppose to start my new pack sunday night but didn't get them until today which is wednesday. Should I start the new pack now or just wait until this sunday coming up to take them? ## You can start them, at any time, but it will take a week of taking the active pills, before they are effective at preventing pregnancy, so in the meantime, you should use a backup method of contraception. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, breakthrough bleeding, mood swings, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I think I had a shortage in my box this month of fentanyl patches. Usually there are 5 per box. I started to change my patch this evening and I only had two in the package. There should had been 3. This is one of the few times that I didn't count my patches upon opening the box. I have a routine in the evenings when it is time for the change of the patch.
