I'm having trouble with my shoulder from an accident I recently had. The Dr. prescribed me this, KETO/GAB/LID/PENCREAM 10/6/2/2% CR 100gm. Apply 1-2 grams (1-2 pumps) to affected area 3-4 times daily. Also with 5 refills. If anyone can tell me anything about this medication or tell me where to go to find it, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does it help. So far I feel a small better feeling. I know the GAB, should (?) stand for gabapentine, which I take in a capsule form, 300mg. All the others, I have no idea. Is this something new? Has anyone else tried it. I read a little about it also helping depression ((??)) along with some "Other" things that would really help me. It is in a (*)topical cream that sort of resembles shaving cream. Any help sure would be appreciated....

A few months back I spranged my right ankle and my doc gave me a topical cream called Ketostat. He didn't write a prescription for it; just gave it to me during an office visit. I'm now wondering if I can get it from a drugstore or if I need a prescription for it. It worked wonders for my right ankle and now I have a broken left ankle and feel it will do just as well. I'd appreciate any information. THANKS!!! ## My ortho doc had to write a prescription for ketostat, and send it to a pharmacy that compounds. hope this information is helpful! ## HOW CAN I ORDER SOME KETOSTAT. ## I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER KETOSTAT WHERE CAN I GET IT

Will this med help with lower back pain, because when I put it on it is not hot? It remains cold... ## Hello, Karen! How are you? There is nothing in this to make it heat up, though some over the counter products like IcyHot do, it isn't necessary to actually relieve pain. Additionally, those products don't actually heat up, anyway, they only stimulate nerve receptors to make it feel as though they do. Is it helping you? ## Hello. My Dr gave. me a compound that consisted of Keto 10%- Amit 3%- Ga 6%- and emla cre #150 and it helps. He gave it to me for my back but I have also used it on my knees, stomach, shoulders and hips, but your Dr has to call it in. Hope this helps. ## I'm supposed to rub a pea-sized amount of Keto/Dex/Lido on the irritation on my back (3 times daily). ...

Will this be helpful for shoulder back and neck pain I get shots for all areas but they only take some of the pain away Biofreeze helps a little but only lasts a few hours If I put it on during the night I have to get up and wash my hands so they don’t go numb or I rub my eyes during the night Will this formula help my pain longer at night and during the day ## This is only a topical cream, so it really depends on what is causing your pain. It may not help with all types of pain. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as skin redness, irritation, itching, and flaking. Have you tried it, yet? If so, how is it working for you?

I just got a mail order prescription from my Doctor. The label says K20 compound (f101), shipped by Valley View Drugs. Next, the label says Apply 2-3 times daily or as directed bt Physician (F101) Keto 20% cream. That's it, other than refill info and when to discard any unused product ## The active ingredient in these creams it Ketoconazole, which is an antifungal cream used to treat fungal and yeast infections. You can learn more about it here: Are there any questions or comments?

Does this cream have side effects? I am rubbing it on the side of my heel for plantar fasciitis. ## The most common side effects, according to the FDA, are related to its topical use and may include skin redness, dryness, flaking, itching, and irritation. You rarely absorb enough of it for it to cause other side effects, but there is a chance you may experience headaches and dizziness. Is there anything else I can help with?

120gm CMP Ketocyclido Cream - Anybody know exactly what this is? I am an RN so technical information would be perfect. Thank you! ## Finding information on this is very difficult since it is not manufactured in the US. This cream appears to be associated in some way with Terrasil MAX cream. My research led me to assume that it is another brand name for Ketocyclido cream; although I cannot locate sufficient information to confirm this. That being said, some reviews state that Terrasil MAX is just a scam, while others don't. Terrasil MAX is formulated with Jojoba Oil, Organic Beeswax, Essential Oils and Activated Minerals. Other than the above ingredients, there is not much information available on this product. Hope this helps!

To be used as pain relief for arthritis of hip ## From you've stated, this is something custom ordered by a doctor, which contains Ketoprofen, Cyclobenzaprine, and Lidocaine, it is most commonly used topically to alleviate pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, burning, and dryness. Is there anything I can help with?

10% cream white diabetes type 2 ## Because of the outrageous number of pills I take, and before I start with this one additional, tell me what or how it will help me. right now . I have severe spasms and cramps which come on in any part of the body and at any time. ## Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is often used in these compounded creams to help treat topical nerve, or muscle pain that is caused by conditions, such as diabetes. Its typical side effects may include skin redness, flaking, irritation, and burning. It won't do much to stop muscle spasms, and cramps, though. Has your doctor prescribed it for you?

I bought this cream in Russia what is it? ## Hi Max, Unfortunately I haven't come across any specific details on "Ketohan". However, rumor has it that the English term for this cream actually goes by "Ketonal" instead and perhaps that's why information wasn't turning up in search results: Discuss/Ketohan-245054.htm Apparently the letters just happen to look like "Ketohan" in Russian writing, but this is only based on one other person's opinion in the thread linked above. At any rate, Ketoprofen is reportedly the active ingredient (or generic name rather) for this product called Ketonal. Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for treating pain and inflammation. Does this sound like a possible match?

Should I feel funny after applying this medication ## Hello, LC! How are you? What do you mean by feeling funny? The lido is Lidocaine, which is an anesthetic, so after application, your skin may feel tingly and numb. Otherwise, the other side effects, as listed by the FDA, are generally limited to its topical use and can include skin redness, irritation and dryness.

Can this topical cream affect your sleeping cycle??? Can it make you sleep a heavy sleep? ## Hello, JoAnn! How are you? No, it shouldn't. The medications may cause drowsiness as side effects, but you only absorb a little of them, when using them topically, so it shouldn't cause a deep, heavy sleep. For that to happen, someone would basically have to almost bathe in it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks so much. Can it be addictive? ## Hello, I just received a topical Cream Keta/Cyclo/GABA/Lido (10%/2%/6%/3.5%). I recently got keto/lido/cycl cream that was prescribed to me because a year ago I got whiplash from a car accident and it still hasn't gone away. I was wondering whether or not I could use the cream with a heating pad as for I use the pad alot? The cream is exactly 10% ketoprofen 6G, 4% lidocaine 2.4G, and 1% cyclobenzaprine 0.6G. I would very much appreciate anyone who could answer me. Thank you! ## Hi Jessica, thank you for bearing with me as I did not have a chance to reply back to your other thread. Because there is Lidocaine in the cream I would avoid using a heating pad unless you can get an okay from your doc or the compounding pharmacist. Are there side effects to using this cream? ## Hello, Drew! How are you? A topical cream that combines Ketorolac, which is an NSAID, and Amitriptyline, which is a TCA, is most commonly used for pain relief. Since it is used topically, the FDA lists the most common side effects as being related to that and they may possibly include skin burning, redness and rash. This should not be taken internally, it is for topical use, only. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can anyone tell me the prescription trade name for a cream containing baclofen 20 mg, ketoprofen 150(?), and lidocaine 50 mg? ## From my own investigation, pain creams that contain these types of ingredients are formulated in compound pharmacies and therefore do not have a trade name like many other topical prescriptions. These are just generic topical formulas that can vary in ingredients with anything from what's listed below, to other combinations that I have not included here: -Baclofen, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen, Cyclobenzaprine, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine -Baclofen Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine, Dicyclomine -Ketoprofen, Gabapentin, Lidocaine, Amitriptyline Hope this helps! ## My compounding pharmacy calls it Baclo-Keto-Lido 2/10...

is keprocaine cream good for knee pain and inflamation ## Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what little bit of information I could gather, Keprocaine cream is a topical pain cream with the following active ingredients: Ketoprofen - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug Baclofen - used to treat muscle spasms and tightness Cyclobenzaprine - skeletal muscle relaxant Lidocaine - local anesthetic With that said, I do believe it could be beneficial for knee pain and inflammation. Additionally, I would also highly recommend looking into "hyaluronic acid injections" for knee pain, as I've heard some great things about its effectiveness. I hope this helps!
