Yes, it's a oxycodone 10mgs used for pain from a doctor and is only given by a doctor unless you find it on the streets and in that case can be very harmful to yourself. I've been on them after having my son when they had to get him out with a C/section I was taking two so 20mgs at a time and even with being on them a short period of time when I did get off of them I went through VERY painful withdrawal that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy so if your taking them PLEASE PLEASE be smart about it I was under doctor supervision and still got hooked to them. Good luck to anyone needing help getting off them. Suboxone is something that really helps if used for a short period of time like a week or so. ## It is very difficult for the majority to become dependent on Percocet after...

I have c 230 yellow pill but for some reason not all of them line up perfectly with the marked c 230 when flipped over , is this normal for this pharmaceutical company to not line up the marks perfectly when flipped over seems like the 230 can be sideways or upside down? ? ## Hi Nycole, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? If not, a lab analysis would probably be the only safe way to tell if it's legitimate. Counterfeiters can easily purchase pill presses off the internet and compose whatever type of tablet they want, making it look virtually identical to the real thing (but often have minor to moderate deformities such as what you described). When I look at a legitimate image of a 10/325 generic Percocet tablet (made by Alvogen Inc.) that's round, yellow and mar...

I have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. The Tamper resistant Oxy-Contin & the unavailability of 15 & 30 mg IR has changed the market here in Florida. God luck to my brothers & sister here in the sunshine state.. ## I agree 100%. all are very similar ## The only Oxy IR brand that I find to have no relief, and actually puts me into withdra...

Hello. For some reason when I take the yellow 230 oxycodone it always gives me a headache or severe back pain, but when I take the white RP 10 oxycodone they work just fine. Why is that? Is there an ingredient in it that I may be allergic to or something? ## I take the pink 10 mg and the last prescription I felt was that at Walgreens and it was this weird fat tablet that I’ve never seen before. It has an M on it but the manufacturer begin with an S, something is definitely wrong with it it gave me terrible stomach pain. I have stomach problems anyway but it gave me the worst stomach pain ever. I’m actually going to report it to the FDA medwatch but I think the pharmacist did. If not I’m going to. Somethings wrong with them.

I want to know what is the difference between the yellow oxycodone 10mg with a p and 230 on it. And the pink oxycodone with np and 12 on it? What's the difference between those two pills?? ## Both pills contain 10mgs of Oxycodone... However the yellow one also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol). Additionally, there are also differences in the lists of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that make up each tablet's composition. The yellow tablet contains: corn starch povidone k30 lactose monohydrate crospovidone stearic acid D & C Yellow No. 10 The pink tablet contains: magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose silicon dioxide stearic acid D & C Red No. 27 D & C Red No. 30 aluminum hydroxide I hope this info helps!

My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...

Yellow pill with #230 on one side and a simble on the other, what is it? ## Hello, David! How are you? A round, yellow tablet with the Alvogen logo on one side and 230 on the opposite contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Would like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). Does this possibly sound like what you might have? If you see a Google Image search for the Alvogen logo it could help to you verify that half moon. Please let me know if this helps at all. I might be ab...

I've never seen these before. ## Hello, Dee Dee! How are you? That's actually meant to be an oriental C, it is logo used by Alvogen and yes, they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation, so they can be cut or broken, if your doctor approves. I've read a lot of the messages but didn't find one referring to what I got this month. Its mfg is Alvog round off white maybe a light yellow pill with a symbol on one side and 230 on the other side. Why are so many changing and am I in for more nausea from these ? Thanks ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? It's just a different manufacturer, since this is a generic. Whichever your pharmacy has in stock at any time can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. However, all are approved by FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better but...

We got a yellow round pill with 230 on it and really can't describe what's on the other side. ## Hello, Jen! How are you? No worries, I know exactly what you're talking about, it's actually an Asian C, which is a logo used by Alvogen on some of their prescription medications. The one with the number 230 on the opposite side is listed by them as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone. You can view the resource with the description of it at this reference NDC code 47781-230.
