My Nurse Practitioner wants me to take Lyrica 75mg. every day for pain. Looked up the side effects & am very apprehensive about this drug. Is anyone on here familiar w/ this drug? I find 2 extra strength Ecotrin helps just as much & has far less side effects. ## As I said, I am very apprehensive about taking this drug. This means that it would be illegal to obtain them via other means if you reside in the US. I was told that mia 110 contains codeine as well. Is that the truth? I was told this by the pharmacist and I had prescription for fioricet with codeine and that's what I got. Is this less expensive than fioricet with codeine? I don't think it has any codeine as I have terrible headaches still. ## No, there is no codeine in those tablets. This is generic Fioricet (Butalbital 325mg / Acetaminophen 50mg / Caffeine 40mg) pain medication prescribed for severe migraine and sinus headaches. It has been around for decades. It is not an opiate and this is not considered a "scheduled medication", (yet, the brand name of this medication "Fiorinal" IS labeled a schedule III controlled drug).
