The prescribing information also states that, "acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide." - That said, I don't see why those ingredients wouldn't be of at least some help in so far as managing your back pain. I took 2 Tylenol 2 hours ago and then remembered that I have a prescription for migraine. How long do I have to wait before I can take my but/apap/cf50-325-40tab ## Hi Claire, Because Acetaminophen is the only active ingredient in Tylenol, I don't foresee any interactions between Tylenol and your prescription of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Butalbital (50 mg) + Caffeine (40 mg). However, depending upon the dose of Tylenol you took, I would suggest waiting at least 4-6 hours before you start taking your prescription (as this is the recommended dosing interval within a 24hr period for dosages ranging from 325 - 650 mg).
