Buspirone Depression

I had depression n anxiety 10yrs ago. Was given Seroxat n had very good results. Been off meds since then. Now depression n anxiety has returned (relapse). Been given Lexapro, Luvox, Prozac. No results at all! Seems resistant to anti depressants. What is happening? Do i go for only benzos to treat anxiety bcos anxiety is main problem not depression. appreciate any help. Yes, if it was the sole reason for the weight gain, then you'll most likely lose it, after coming off of the medication. However, as listed by the NIH, withdrawal effects may include anxiety, depression and mood swings, so you should speak to your doctor about doing a proper taper, rather than a sudden withdrawal, to help mitigate the withdrawal effects. I am taking Busprione Tab 15 MG and Hydroxyzine Caps 25 MG for depression and anxiety. What is the purpose of taking both of these medications? It seems like Hydroxyzine makes me tired. I use to take Xanax and I never felt tired as a matter of fact I had much more energy. Please let me know what these two perscriptions and suppose to help me do. I'm 28 and was taken off welbutrin and buspirone and put on viibryd 40mg I was not dosed up BC I was already on the others. I have hard horrible headaches, more anxiety, muscle pain, sleeplessness, more frequent bowel movements (which I am greatful for), cravings for sweets and have gained 5lbs over the past two weeks :( I don't know what else to do the old meds only helped me concentrate. I have been taking buspar for about four weeks and for the last week and a half I have had sharp pain in my lower right abdomen and back. is a buspar stronger than taking a xanax? ## Busbar are useless. Xanax are much stronger depending on the dose, 1 or 2. Take one 2mg ## Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, this is a Benzodiazepine, commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. BuSpar contains the active ingredient Buspirone, a much milder medication used to treat depression and anxiety.
