Buspar 5mg

Hi, my dr prescribed this for me for anxiety. At first I was hesitant because I read about the bad side effects you can get (brain zap, uncontrollable movements, etc) but I have finally decided to try it. He said start off 5mg 2x a day. My anxiety mostly presents itself with racing heart, palpitations, tightness in chest. Does buspar help calm these things down? I am also on Xanax, which helps a great deal, but I am hoping this i can take in the day time to help ease my symptoms. I just am scared of the side effects. Any experience would help. I found a pill in my son's room it's a small white oval pill that says M B1 He told me it was ambien but he did not tell me what mg it was. Why did I read that you should not take this medicine till 2020? I was just given a lot of samples of 5mg that my doctor wants me to start for my depression. I am scared to death to start because of the horrible reviews & side effects that sound horrible. I have never heard of this drug. Can you please help me with this. Anxiety is a problem I have. I had it for 2 years.im 43 now.i didn't know what was going on with me.i went for medical advice. I told them my problems(fast heart rate.head numb,nervous.). And it would last for 4to 5 daystheweird thing is .when I wakeup I have anxiety all day.around 730 at night it magically goes away.weird.i taken 60 mg of remeron .it was way to much I cut down to 7.5mg in the morning and 15mg at night. I just started buspar 5 mg three times a day.i seemed to keep going to the benzos they work good but I know I will have keep taking higher dosages cause you get used to it and its been hard getting off them.how can I knock the anxiety out any advice.That fact that it goes away at night usually when it starts getting dark. I have been taking suboxone for about 2 months now. I am supposed to take 12mgs a day...3 doses 4 mg a piece a lot of days i do not need the 3rd dose and take 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening. Since i stoped taking painkillers i have had bad anxiety and trouble sleeping my mind seems to wonder and dwell on things when i go to bad and have had a couple anxiety attacks at work. My doctor tried buspar for 3 weeks because he does not like to give benzos with the subs. I had no relief from the buspar so today he gave me a perscription for xanax 0.5mg as need max 2 a day. He explained the possiable interaction between them and told me as long as i take them at least a couple hours apart i ahouldnt have any problems.
