Where can I fill a prescription for C Ketr Bup Eth Pp Cream? ## Hello, Jackie! How are you? I'm not sure what all of these abbreviations stand for, but I can tell you that these creams must be custom created by a specialty compounding pharmacy, so a regular pharmacy won't be able to fill it for you. The precise ingredients can vary from doctor to doctor and depends on what's being treated, but the FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, dryness, irritation and rash. Do you have a large hospital nearby? If so, you can probably call them to find the nearest compounding pharmacy.

My doctor prescribed a cream for my back. What is in it and what does each ingredient do? Dic 3% Bac 2% Cyc 2% Gab 10% Bup 5% Pen 5% ## Hello, 4dabirds! How are you? Diclo stand for 3% Diclofenac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to relieve pain and swelling. Bac is 2% Baclofen, which is a muscle relaxant. Cyc is 2% Cyclobenzaprine, which is another muscle relaxant. Gab stands for 10% Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. Pen is 5% Penicillin, which is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent topical infections in such a mixture. I am not completely sure on the Bup, but it might be 5% Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic analgesic. The most common side effects are skin reddening and application site irritation. Is there ...

I just got a prescription for a "new" pain relieving cream from my Pain Management Center. cream with baclofen 2% bupivacine 1% cyclobenzaprine 2% diclofenac 5%. It does not have a "Name" - What is it? are there side effects with topical use? ## This is something specially ordered by your doctor that needs to be made by a compounding pharmacy, so there is no name for it. Your doctor chooses the ingredients for the cream according to what they think will help you. Both Baclofen and Cyclobenzaprine are muscle relaxants, the Bupivicaine is a local anesthetic and Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. And side effects should be minimal for topical use and may include skin irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I just got topical medication for achill...

Did you ever figure out what was in your cream? Got my cream today & has exactly same contents.. But can't figure out what they are.. Thanks in advance.. ## Based on the abbreviations you provided, this is a specially ordered cream used for topical pain relief, so ingredients can vary from area to area, but in this case, it contains Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Lidocaine, and Bupivacaine. There are some details from Medline Plus and DailyMed about the various ingredients. In this case, side effects are typically only relevant to its topical application and are listed as possibly including skin irritation, redness, burning,...

My Doctor gave this to me. Its a free sample of a pain cream for the tendons in my wrists (I think she said I could also use it on my back for my scoliosis). I always look up side effects of any medication I use, but when I went to look it up I noticed it didn't have a name. It says "this medicine was specially compounded per your prescriber" on the side. I just want to know what this is so I can know the side effects before using it. Dose anyone know what this is? ## Hello, Anna! How are you? I know what some of these ingredients are, CYC is Cyclobenzaprine a muscle relaxant, LID is Lidocaine a topical anesthetic and BAC is Baclofen another muscle relaxant, but I'm not sure on the DIC and BUP. However, what I can tell you is that side effects are minimal for these topic...

I get 2 strips of Buprenorphine/Naloxone daily. 8mg. Been on about 2 yrs. Anyone else get a rash from these? What is in these that would cause this? Was on pain management for years but that became a nightmare and way too much work with all new laws. I was on for 30 plus yrs. Subs are much easier to get a monthly script for. What's up with the 2 yr rash? I drink 8 or 9 waters a day. I'm not dehydrated. Not a sub fan at all but they do the job. Anyone else get a constant rash from the strips? Don't bother saying I could stop them. Had 6 yrs sober, plus the subs keep me out of prison. I tried every lotion cream available. I have to grease my hands every night and wear gloves to bed as my hands cracked so bad. So, back to the rash. Any info please? Thanx. ## What kind of rash a...

I also received a cream for a torn labrum, and back spasms as a result of the torn labrum. The insurance is making me jump through Hoops! (Now 2 yrs.) Anyhow, what do these abbreviations stand for and what does each one do? I want to make sure I'm not going to make matters worse, as the drugs they were giving me were giving me so many side effects, I couldn't take them any longer. Can someone please list each abbreviation and it's correct name? Also, a brief description of what they do and side effects? I am very sensitive to drugs, and am concerned. Thank you in advance for any clarification you can give. ## I'm happy to help! Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Gabapentin, an anticonvulsant that also helps with certain types of nerve pain. Baclofen, which is ...
