I have 4 month old baby. While I'm feeding my baby is it ok for me to take Wysolone for wheezing? Will it affect my kid? ## Hi Kriba! Any medication a mother takes while breastfeeding is passed on 2 the baby. I would ask your Dr., just 2 be safe. But, I think u will b fine. ## So I can take it? ## Hello, Kriba! How are you? Wysolone is a steroid class medication, it isn't going to treat wheezing. It can help with the immune response of some allergic reactions, but it's not an antihistamine that actually treats or prevents allergies. But suppressing your immune system, when you don't need to do so could be very dangerous. Thus, you should talk to your doctor to see what you can take for that, which would be safe while breastfeeding.

What will happen to my baby newborn if I breastfeed and use Lexamil? ## Hi corrie, Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram; which can cause harm to the fetus if it is used during the last 3 months of pregnancy. The pregnancy warnings for this drug also note that one should not breast-feed while taking Escitalopram, since it is excreted into human milk. Apparently, there have been two reports of infants experiencing excess somnolence, decreased feeding, and weight loss in association with breast-feeding from a Escitalopram- treated mother. The decision to continue or discontinue either nursing or Escitalopram therapy should take into account both the risks of Escitalopram exposure to the infant and the benefits of Escitalopram therapy for the mother. I have chronic lower back pain and shoulder pain. I have an 8month old girl (not breast feeding) and a 2.5 year old boy. My pain is dibilitating and I have trouble lifting and taking care of them. I've tried everything heat/ice therapy and meds. Vicodin or Norco are the two pain meds that seem to work for me and I am able to perform my daily duties with much less pain. I do not want anything stronger than them. I have not found a regular doctor to just give me a refillable prescription with out going to the ER. It's really tough for me to get around with the two kids and my pain. I wish to find just one doctor that I can go to and who realizes I have tried all other outlets and this is what works for me.
