Break Down New Opana

Hello I take opana 40mg Er 3x daily with 8mg of deluded for break threw pain. I have l3-l5 fussed I have Ben on opana now for 6months before that mscontin and oxy. The opana does work for me with little to no side effects I have to agree with fellow commenters about the abuse of the drugs. All it does is make it hard on people like my self that suffer from chronic pain. It is good that they make the drugs more tamper proof but in some cases the drug failed to work because of the new formulation. ## @Bahm, In my honest opinion, it really comes down to just being open to other forms of treatment options so one isn't fully dependent upon big pharma (or any other single source of medication) to cover all their needs. My husband has severe rheumatoid arthritis and requires 24 pain management. We felt there were too many ups and downs with the 50 mcg fentanyl patch and asked for something new. Pain Management Dr. (PMD) changed him to MS Contin 15 mg. He was in bed for 4 solid days, was taking 4-6 percocet per day for breakthrough and was anorexic and irritable. How do I get high off of the new opana 20 er pills ? I know they gel up when u try to eat it .people say u can iv it and u can snort it but what is the fastest and easiest way to get high off these pills??? ## Although I'm not one to support this type of behavior, there are actually a lot of threads here in the forums that explain how to abuse this medication in pretty much every way you can think of (injections, snorting, microwaving, rectal/anally, etc). Ive moved into rockland county ny. Im lookin for a new pm doc. Im perscribed 40mg opana twice daily and 30mg oxycodone twice daily. Id even consider paying the doctor out of my pocket. I need help. Does anyone know anything about this new medication, and the strength's that they are available in? I'm in desperate need to find a new medication to replace the meds that I've been prescribed for the past 5 years! I've been prescribed Opana ER 40mg tablets, and my dosage is take 2 tabs by mouth 3 times daily. That's for my long-term, and I take Opana IR 10mg's 1 tab by mouth 6 times daily for break-thru pain. IF YOU HAVE AN 80MG DILAUDID SCORED ROUND TABLET, HOW WOULD U KNOW IF IT CAN BE TAKEN INTRAVENOUSLY ? ## Well first, the tablet with the marking 54 425 contains only 8mgs of Hydromorphone, that active ingredient in Dilaudid, which is the maximum dosage available for the regular release tablets, the extended release goes up to 12mgs. EVEN BREAKING THE PILL DOWN WITH {edited for safety reasons} its all dissolved and instant release and it also hold some of the time release too even dissolving it and works all day... as far as snorting, forget it cause these junkies that try to do it using microwave, etc are wasting the product by heating it for one and with a 20mg pill, you would spend more time trying to perfect the method to a point where it just isnt worth it...trust me i love to intranasal too but cant with these new op formula...these new op are good but just not for iv or snorting. good luck ## this is 2 weeks in now. after being on 4 10mg percacet daily for pain. now getting 2 20mg oxycontin and 2 10mg percocet breakthru. so, overall i am feeling so much better than the past 3 months. all the doctors are afrai...

how can u breakdown the new 30mg opana? ## It is not safe to use any medication in a manner for which is isn't intended, it is also illegal. Medications in tablet form, especially time released formulations, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. However, when you snort them, you place these substances into your sinuses and lungs, where they cannot be processed out and this creates the risk of blockages, which could lead to respiratory arrest. I became a pain patient after I fell off a horse in March of last year and sustained spinal injuries which are still VERY painful. Opana ER was the first thing doctors gave me that helped at all and now that they have changed the formula I'm in a lot more pain. I want to break down the formula so I can insufflate it, as I am told I may get more pain relief and increase bioavailability of the drug. I don't understand how Endo can file for the old opana not to be made when they didn't fight it last year when Watson received approval. Why didn't they say something about it then? I have read so many things about this for a year now. How can they try to make sure no one else makes money off of it. Things I have read sounds like they are trying to make as much money as they can from opana. If no one else sells it they will make all the money. Everyone is correct.
