Brand Xanax

I've been taking dava brand xanax for a year, the 0.5 mg. This batch I got recently has a strong chemical taste and odor to them and taste horrible than the usual I would get. Did anybody else run into this problem with dava brand? ## Perhaps they are very fresh right from an unopened container giving them that smell. What are the #'s stamped on the pill and what pharmacy did you use? Dava seems to make fine medicine although all manufactures will have a problem every now and then. If you are looking at a name brand xanax 2 milligram, if you turn it over to the right what way would the number 2 be facing? ## Depends which way you are facing? ## @Justin, Eddy is right, it probably would depend on which way you are facing as well. When I look at an image of a legitimate 2mg white xanax bar, the word "[x|an|a|x]" is printed horizontally, but the number 2 is always represented as being vertical (going long ways) on the opposite side. It appears to be facing left just as a normal "2" would. I just filled a prescription for 90 greenstone 2 milligram Alprazolam and they seem to be working just fine. As a matter of fact I see no difference between them and my father's name brand Xanax. How do the white round alprazolam 2mg compare to the white xanax 2mg bars? My doctor told me generic brands can be up to 30% weaker or 30% stronger. Also the yellow 2mg aprazolam bars. How do these 3 rank in potency or whatever? ## Your doctor is right, on all except the percentage, the allowable difference by the FDA is plus or minus 20%, not 30. They consider this an acceptable therapeutic window. As to how any compare to the name brand, you are not going to get any information from just providing the color, since they don't actually mean anything and doesn't tell anyone who the manufacturer is. They don't seem to be working at all. I am on 1mg three times a day. It was only 1.04 for 90, which I thought was great, but now I know why. I took the mylan brand 0.5mg xanax for many years from cvs and had no problems. about a year or so ago cvs switched to Greenstone and I Liked them. In fact I think they worked better for me then the mylan brand. Then I called in one of my refills and cvs had switched again to Dava brand. I took as perscribed and started having panic attacks. I didn't understand so I doubled up on my med and they started to work. I have taken Teva brand alprazolam, 1mg, 3x's a day for years. I moved to Citrus County FL, 4 months ago, and I can't find a pharmacy that carries this, and they refuse to special order it. I am very sensitive to different medications and the other brands I've received are sub-par. Any suggestions? I got chalky tasting xanax with imprint gg249 on one side. And smooth on the back, I haven't taken one until I figure out if they're good or not. Anyone else been prescribed these? I cannot find coverage for name brand xanax and alpralazam does not work . what do I do if I cant afford brand name without coverage? ## Insurance compnies do not like to pay for brand name drug when a generic is avaiable. They most likely will make you pay for brand name, and since you have insurance the drug company will not give you a discount card either. So either get use to the generic or pay big bucks for brand name. It's just the way they work. Sad but true. ## There actually is a discount card available from the manufacturer, Pfizer, that can even be used by those that have insurance, but I am not certain how significant that savings may be. green ## There is no 4mg dosage in either the name brand Xanax or the generic Alprazolam. The highest dosage available is a 3mg time released tablet and the highest in the regular release formulation is 2mgs. You can learn more Alprazolam details here. Does anyone know if these red xanax bars are a good generic version? They look taste and feel like the brand name but I don't see anything on the net about them.. can someone please give me some feedback or some kind of info on these? how can you check to see if the pills are real or fake(besides looking at them) ## ## If they are the name brand, from the U.S., then twe's post should be helpful. There are, however, also many generics on the market and many available from foreign countries, as well. The legal, U.S. generics are required by law to have some type of imprint on the tablet, to enable their identification. If the tablets you are questioning are from the U.S. and have an imprint, then if you post back with it, I can easily look it up for you to see if it contains Alprazolam. I'm a poor American that's on Obama care. The medical card only covers four prescriptions and it won't cover a brand name drug so that means I got to suffer without my Lyrica, Xanax and Norco because the generics don't work.
