My bp is 150/82. I had coronary artery bypass graft surgery on 17-Sep-2013. Presently I am taking following bp medicine : Betaloc 75mg 2 times daily; Amlodopine 5mg daily; Frusemide 20mg daily + Potassium chloride 600mg daily. Pls advise how can I lower my HBP from 150 to 120. ## Try taking 1500 mg of fish oil a day. Mainly Krill oil. Fish oil works wonders for the brain, joints, cholesterol, memory, and bones in general. But should help you BP as well as long as you take it everyday. Natural compared to chemical. Any day!

I have been taking medicines for BP. The medicines is changed from one to another like Ramipril 5mg, Losarton Sodium 50mg, Telmisartan 40 mg, etc. I want to know is there any problem in changing the medicines or one should I stick with only one medicines. My father is 87 years old has diabetes type 1 but well controlled. He is also bedridden because his thigh bone got fracture and joined with metal support 2 years ago. He eats less amount so we treat him with some cakes or fresh fruit juice which are not very sweet. But he could not eat well since 4 days ago after he relieved from sickness. I am on 40mg of Lisinipril and 50 mg of metroprolol. BP was high so I went from 25 to 50 metroprolol. 50 making me feel dizzy and light headed. 25 was good. Doc say take every thing in the morning but I am wondering if I can take the extra 25mg of metroprolol in the pm before bed so I do not feel so bad during the day ## Normally, such side effects will wear off after a few weeks, after your body adjusts to the new dosage. Hi, my mother has High BP. It was 140/90 for the past few years.. But for the last one month it has gone up to (150-160)/(100-110). She is 49 years old. She is using Concor 2.5mg, Ln block 10 (twice a day) and Aldactone 25 mg. But still the BP is at the same level. She even consulted a cardiologist but everything is normal. My Blood Sugar level is: FBS - 147 & PPBS – 248. BP - 110/80. I was taking reclimet tablets twice a day for the past 2 years and my sugar level is under control. I used to take pioz7.5 alongwith but have discontinued it from last month as my doctor said I do not need it now. now I am in usa for 3 months and will return on 26th may. I have run out of reclimet tablets, but I do have pioz 7.5. should I continue with pioz7.5 from now on? or just stop taking any sugar tablets? I am having High Bp 140/90 and some times 140/100, for the last 10 years. first 8 years I was put on Atenol 25mg. Two years back my cardiologist changed my medicine to Telma-H(40mg). This year when I went through regular check up my BP was 140/100 and sugar levels were 125 FBS and 170 PBS. The LDL was 140mg. Hi, I am 35.2 yr male & suffering from kidney diesease(creatine level 1.6,urea 33) due to that got high BP since yr sep-2007.Till then I am continue on medications. I was well in control with medicines Lasix 40Mg(1-0-0) ,Telsartan R5(1-0-1), Metstamlo 50/5(1-0-1) from sep2007 to june2010.Later, in yr 2012, Telsartan R5 replaced with Telma R5 and metstamlo stopped and instead Febuget 40 started for uric acid control. I am 33yrs old lady suffering from high bp about 100/150.before I was taking amlong but now my Dr.has changed it to tazloc am.Is it ok for me.wat are the side effects ## You should take the medication your doctor has told you to take. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

can I take Benadryl while I take a daily Blood Pressure med called Exforge ## Hello, Jeff! How are you?
