I broke my seismoid bone in my foot Saturday day bprescribed that will have to heal on its own. Dr gave me Tramadol hcl 50mg #30. To take every four hours. I wore a support/walking boot until work on Friday and Saturday this past week. Due to safety I was unable to wear it to work waiting tables for 5 and 7 hours shifts. Both my feet were very sore after. I think bc my good foot compensated for the bad. I just ran out yesterday and only took as prescribed. I did get a refill tonight after trying tylenol and motrin with no relief. I wasn't concerned until I read some posts about it having withdrawal affects. I did start having light nausea and body aches begin last night and have worsened some today. I assumed I might be getting the flu since my three year old has been battling prett...

I used to weigh 285 lbs. With the Belviq I lost an amazing 55 lbs. over a period of 9 months. I have since tapered off so my doctor took me off of it. If I'm off it for about 4-6 weeks will the weight loss pick up again as though I started it for the first time? My first month of taking it was May 1, 2014. Within that month I lost 20 lbs. My goal is to get down to at least 155 or lower. I'm a big boned girl so that size would be ok with me. If I lose more than that.....GREAT! I ended up gaining all of my weight from the medication Depakote. By the time I was done with the Depakote I weighed a whopping 324. I was so depressed and hated leaving my house. I thought I would always be alone and overweight. I've had surgery after surgery for various things and haven't really b...

attention patients taking TOPAMAX Is anyone out there having SEVERE BONE PAIN THROUGH-OUT THEIR LEGS AND OR CHEST?...that is ignored by doctors; who insist is is NOT is side effect from this drug? I AM NOT CRAZY, BUT VERY FRUSTRATED. I am been on TOPAMAX for migraine prevention (low dose of 25 MG) for two years. I started getting bi-lateral leg pain which I was able to tolerate. this was not muscle pain; rather DEEP BONE PAIN IN THE FRONT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. TWO WEEKS AGO; MY NEUROLOGIST INCREASED DOSE TO 50MG. 'OMG'..MY BONE PAIN IS NOW EFFECTING MY LIFE AND KEEPING ME UP ALL NIGHT. I HAVE TAKEN NARCOTIC PAIN MEDS WITH NO RELIEF. I ENDED UP IN THE 'ER' WITH CHEST PAIN LASTING TWO DAYS. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS BONE PAIN AND NOT HEART RELATED. My doctor ordered blood work to ...

I was fighting cancer and ended up hooked on opiates. I had been taking oxycontin, dilaudid, percocet, hydromorphone, you name it, for years. I needed to keep taking higher and higher doses because i had developed a resistance to the drugs and they stopped working. A few years into my fight i caught a break and my cancer went into remission. I started to recover and most of the bone pain issues began to fade. I didn't need the opiates anymore but I was hooked. I went to the doctor for a cessation plan and he gave me a taper down schedule from long acting oxy to short acting percs then finally tapering to nothing. It was going to be a slow, painful, draw down. I started the plan and quickly came unglued at the seems. I had been fighting a painful cancer for years and now I had to dea...

This will be my first time taking Instaflex. How am I supposed to take it? I am currently taking Tramadol 50mg for knee pain. In my right knee I have no cartilage left in it. It is basically rubbing bone on bone. I need to know the success rate with both drugs. ## Tramsdol, gambinton, ibroproytin andare instaflex, cantina thèse be taKen together ## Instaflex is not considered a medication, it is classified as a supplement. It contains Turmeric, Resveratrol, Boswella extract, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and bioperine. These are believed to help with joint pain, and inflammation, but Instaflex is not FDA approved, and hasn't been proven to help. Started Xarelto two days ago. The first day extreme fatigue and bone and joint pain. I don't think I can co tinue on this drug much longer. Going to call my doctor but just wanted to hear from anyone else that might be experiencing this. Does it get better or go away? Thanks in advance for any advice ## I had joint pain after starting on Xarelto, but it went away after a couple of months. I was told joint pain is a common side effect, but should eventually go away as your body adjusts to the medication. I would still talk to your doctor, though! ## Thanks for you input. After I posted this I have blood in my urine and had to stop xarelto and restart Pradaxa. It was really scary but the blood has now stopped after discontinuing it for 24 hrs. I had a fna done which showed papillary architecture in the lesion and was recommended for a lumpectomy and mri which I am having the mri today and the surgery will depend on the results of this as to how soon they do it. I've been on methadone now for 2 1/2 years starting at 10 mls going to 110 now at 48. I have been losing my teeth and nails and my bones have been cracking and breaking ( literally ). I am wondering if anyone else has been going through this? ## Has this only been happening since you started taking the methadone? I've honestly never heard of this happening to anyone, but it may also be a good idea to get blood work done to check and see if you may be deficient in any nutrients. Low levels of certain vitamins and minerals, like B12 can result in hair loss and weak nails, etc. You can also view a list of methadone's side effects by following the link below; although I don't see anything listed that relates to what you're experiencing: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0...

I've been taking this drug for over 20 years. It's a lifesaver for my life yet a killer for my bones. I went in for lung surgery and the surgeon broke 5 ribs with the spreader. I can cough hard now and break a rib. I stub a toe and it breaks I have a badly broken toe now. In 6 weeks there has been no knit in it either. It's very painful. When you are standing up and for some reason start coughing, usually when I have a cold, and one of my ribs gives way it knocks me right to my knees. I should be used to it but no, its impossible. The ads on tv now have some small print about this problem. You may have noticed. I know the problem exists, I know of no one else who goes through what I do. However, to be able to function day to day and eat more foods than not, I continue to tak...

My 7 doctors agreed that I would have to be on pain meds the rest of my life after a auto accident in 1981, after more than 50 surgeries I was put on disability until I found a old doctor who help put back to the point I had a union of both bones mid shaft of Tibia & Fibula, plus 7 crushed disk, right rotator cuff that pops out & many other injuries. The proton pump inhibitors, such as the Dexlansoprazole in this, are known to cause some problematic side effects, in some people that take them. However, if you are still having an acidity problem, you might need to try a different type of antacid, such as Pepcid, which contains the active ingredient Famotidine: But, you should check with your doctor, before trying a new medication.
