I live in Nampa, Idaho, 20 minutes from Boise. I just moved here and am looking for a doctor who has no problem prescribing Xanax. I have terrible anxiety. ## Xanax is a Benzodiazepine, so it has the potential to be habit forming and such prescriptions are also monitored by the government, so it's highly unlikely that you'll find a doctor that'll be casual about prescribing it. The best thing you can do is set up an appointment with a new doctor, but don't ask in advance if they'll prescribe any particular medication, because they will most likely see that as drug seeking behavior. Been on SUBOXONE maintenance for years, but can no longer afford all the bs that goes along with the maintenance, and since I have chronic pain anyway, I feel it would be appropriate for me to see a pain specialist to get my script. I just moved to boise from georgia and figured it would be easy to get an appointment with a suboxone doctor. NO DICE! Is it available in Boise, Id? I received some from a friend in California, and it is taking care of my pain. ## I have used this for quite some time. It helps alleviate inflammation and tightness which can be brought on from heavy lifting which is why I have turned to it. Are there any weigh loss specialists in your area? If so, that would probably be the first places to try as they are better informed and more knowledgeable about such issues and medications.

I just moved to Idaho from California. I am on methadone for degenerative disc disease. And have been on it for 8years. A pain team with Kaiser Permanente put me on it.. well this was an unexpected move. . I got on Idaho medicaid and they assigned me to a health clinic(after i didn't choose one because of everything going on)well the clinic has a policy that they dont prescribe anything over the equivalent of 120Mg morphine.. they wont fill my script! I live in the Boise area... Any suggestions? ## I don't think most of us realize that taking opioids for long periods can also cause pain because your body is asking for more and (causing issues with other parts of your body without you recognizing it and has a terrible affect on your mind) not taking on time can be painful as well...

I live in Ca n I'm going to Idaho n I have my post dated methadone RX but I'll still b in Idaho when its time to get filled so will they fill it over there or do I have to cum back to Ca to fill it ## As long as the script is a legitimate prescription, & can be verified by your prescribing Dr, it can be filled anywhere. If for whatever reason you're unable to fill, I would suggest getting in contact w/the methadone clinics to help you till you get back home. Take your script w/ you & they would prolly be able to help in some way. In March of 1983 I was given Zomax for depression and traumatic stress disorder just before I moved back to Alaska. I had been taking it for about 3 days and we were on the road. I was taking a break from driving and as we were coming into Pocatello, Idaho my husband at that time woke me up. My lips were huge and swollen and my eyes were almost swollen shut. I was also having a hard time breathing. We went straight to the emergency room in Pocatello and I was told I was going into anaphylactic shock.
