I was perscribed Eddexor XR 75MG for one year after suffering from depression after the death of a family member. 10 days ago I stoped using this medication and I have had strange side effects I contribute to withdrawl. I get waves of tingling thruout my body. Like an electric shock feeling. I wanted to know if anyone else has had this feeling after discontuning Effexor XR. ## i was on effexor for nearly 4 years, a dose of 150mg i had somewhat intense withdraw that lasted for a couple of weeks. i had to comae of them slowly. ## I know EXACTLY what you're going through, Lori. I'm not exactly drug-compliant, I forget easily depending on my stress levels and I take 150mg 2x daily. If I miss a dose I feel the same as you which I've called twitchy. Hi. I was put on Bystolic for blood pressure in June. two months into taking the medication I had such severe side effects. I had constant muscle spasms, muscle aches and pain that would come and go through my body, I could not focus, I had a burning sensation in my face with tingling through my body. It caused me to get depressed and develop bad anxiety. I weaned myself from 10mg to 2.5 mg and went to the doctor and told him and he switched me to 50mg Losartan. He switched it in August and then the doctor place me on Losartan. I felt good for the first few weeks. Almost 2 and a half months in and I am getting severe body aches that come and go, my anxiety is back and worse, severe sinus congestions and ear ringing and a congestion. I think i need vitamin B12, and I understand that Neurovit is B12 only, without Vitamin B1 and B6. I took B1,B6 and B12 combined but I suddenly experienced tingling/needle-like sensation so stopped taking Supraneuron tablets. ## Have you consulted your doctor to see if you need it? Too much Vitamin B12 can be just as dangerous as not having enough of it in your body. Neurovit contains Thiamine, Pyridoxine and Cyanacobalamin, so it does have the same vitamins as the other one that you tried. ## I continued my research on the contents of various B-complex vitamins. Yes, you are right, I should have consulted my physician. I found out that these B-complex vitamins contain different dosages or mgs e.g. Neurobion has B1 - 100 mg, B2 - 200 mg and B12 - 200 mg; Polynerve which is the same as S... ...

Exemestane side affects

I have been taking Exemestane for 2-1/2 months. My hands are numb and also tingling. The pain with the tingling is so bad. It lasts about two minutes and then just feels numb. Also have hip/lower back pain. Called my doc about the hands and she said go off Exemestne for two weeks and see if it goes away. She thinks I have carpal tunnel. I was on Tamoxifan for one year but changed due to horrible leg cramps. Then put on Anastrozole and stopped after two weeks due to body rash. Now I truly believe I am having reaction to Exemestane. ## Hello, Cc! How are you? I'm very sorry about your health problem and the issues you've been having with the medications. cautions celadrin ??
Post a Reply
I experience strong effects on trying Celadrin (caps and cream).I appreciate the 'softening' effect in my tissues etc. It also seems to 'soften' my mood or emotions. BUT, it seems to make me quite jumpy and 'wiggley'; also exaggerating the tingling and 'zingy-ness' of a sort of neuropathy I've had for years in my body , (arms and hands are the worst). I've only lasted a day or two using it , 'cause this dramatic effect worries me a little - besides the discomfort. It all reminds me a bit of - feelling a degree of what Michael J Fox contends with. It takes more effort just to keep my (body) vehicle on the road, like some wind is blowing it around. Hmmmmm. Do I dare keep trying - for the aspects that may be helpful - anti-stiffness,etc.? Has any... ...

How long do Metanx side effects last
1 Reply RSS
I've been taking Metanx for 6 days now; the pain in my feet has decreased but now I have tingling in both legs and at night I have some minor tingling in my torso and face. Does anyone know how long this type of side effect lasts? ## Hello, Niecy! How are you? Metanx is just considered a medical food, because it's a supplement that contains nutrients known to support nerve health. Thus, it doesn't actually alleviate pain or cause side effects, so to speak. The tingling may just be due to the nutrients improving the circulation in your body, but you should have it checked out, just in case. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Took Doxycycline for tick bite

I was on a 10 day cycle of Doxycycline for a tick bite. I was outside some days and had no problem. Mowed grass on day 7. I had on sunblock also. But my hands tingled when I washed them after mowing. Now 5 weeks later I have these symptoms: Tingling hands and feet, all of my skin burns when touched, tongue and inside of mouth burns, esophagus burns, stomach burns, rash on upper chest and face, if I run my finger across my body it leaves a bright red mark for a few minutes, and if I sit for long my back burns and turns red. Dr. prescribed anti-histamines and corticosteroid cream. Neither seem to help much. ## Hello, Patrick! How are you? It's hard to say whether or not this has had anything to do with the Doxycycline. I recently had a stroke. My left hand and left face are numb & tingling. The doctor gave me Lyrica. So far no improvement. Is Lyrica for such use after a stroke? ## Hello, Mike! How are you? I'm very sorry about your stroke. Lyrica is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings and weight gain. How long have you been on it and what is the dosage? It does take about 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in the body, so it may need more time, or you may need a higher dosage. ...

I have pain shooting from my left lower back. It runs down the left side to the foot. Also tingling. I am on 10mg oxycodone + 325mg acetaminophen. I've been on them for I think 3 yrs. So they are not working. My question is how do I go about telling my doctor that I need something stronger without sounding like an addict? Thanks for all answers. Greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Mack! How are you? Has there been any change? At this point, I don't think the concern is needing more medications, but to make sure that you are not experiencing a heart problem, which many such issues on the left side of your body could possibly indicate. Thus, it is best to just tell your doctor what is happening, including the pain you're experiencing, and go from there. However, do not ask them for... ...

Severe diarrhea, cramps, muscle pain and vomiting

I went to my MD who did not look at my blood pressure, temperature or heart rate; this after I gave the MD my history. I got sick suddenly on Tuesday night, with a high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting and body pain. They did not examine me. I was put on a bed and taken straight to the ER room for vitamins in drip and Buscopan. I was then sent home with a script only to find out it is only tans 3x 500mg one a day, plus Zelitrex tabs which is used to treat and prevent (recurring) infections with the herpes viruses. These include the viruses that cause: Cold sores (herpes simplex) - a burning and/or tingling sensation on or around the lips that develops into painful, fluid-filled blisters with scabs.
