my sister in law aged 47 years female been suffering from thyroid high bp recently she is suffereing from pain in whole body. doctors treater her for arthrytis and neuro problem but of no result. can you help her to get relieved from such pain ?

I have been taking suboxone for a week, only 8 mg a day, but over 24 hours ago i only took a half of a 8 mg strip, will I be able to feel pain mess now. It's been 28 hrs since i took half strip. ## @Akc, Due to buprenorphine's long half life of 24 - 60 hours (as reported by samhsa.gov), I would probably encourage you to wait a little longer in-between stopping suboxone and starting narcotic pain meds in order to get the most out of them. If still in doubt you could also take a drug panel to gauge how much suboxone is left in your body. But that might be more trouble than it's worth v.s. just waiting it out for an extra day or two. However, if you do not take the prescribed medications, high blood sugar can be deadly, so there is far less risk to dealing with the possible side effects. The U.S. FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been using this drug, lighty since 1999. I've had three surgical proceedures in the last 5 yrs. This drug was perscribed in 4 of the ops. In 1994 I was in a car wreck that put me in a full body cast, broken femur, fx skull, on top of a history of abdominal surgeries from Hirschprungs. In 2000, a hernia repair surgery. in 2008, tumor removal. 2009, car wreck that resulted in no broken bones, but made my back and hip pain worse. Jan 2012, tumor removal. I visited a doctor about my knee pain and he told me that i am suffering from arthritis. He advised me to take these tablets: glucosamine, mathylsulfonylmethane & diacerein and calcize. I took at least a month worth and it seems i got red spots all over my back. So please advise whether I can continue to take these tablets? I am using eptoin 300mg for past 9 months and some times in between i skip taking the medicine. Earlier for few months, every thing was fine, but now a days i am feeling the dizziness full day and some body pains. Because of this, my eyes remain swelled for the full day. Cause I would love to know... ## Suboxone is prescribed for pain in other countries but here in the states as far as I know it,s only prescribed to treat opiate addiction. The pain your friend is feeling could be from withdrawal. Maybe your friend has other pain issues and also has a pain pill problem and the patient and doctor decided to start suboxone treatment.
