I'm on Ativan for anxiety and i have taken 1 and a half mgs in the last 4-5 hours. Im really struggling with abdominal pain and bloating. Is it safe to take Gas X with my ativan? ## Hello, Aj! I am on 5mg of Mounjaro and I get these really bad burps that stink and so much gas I pass wind and burp all night. Painful amounts of gas! Any help with how to get the burps and gas to stop? I have tried Nexium and Gas-X, neither has helped. ## How long have you been taking it? While the FDA does warn that these can be common side effects of Mounjaro, along with nausea, dizziness, fever, and bloating, most side effects will improve with time, as your body gets used to a new medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks. I have been advised by Dr. to use Prolomet XL25 due to hypertension. Coincidentally from the time of usage of the same, I have developed gas problem in body. Can prolemet xl-25 cause such gastic probelm alone or in combination with other medicines? ## Prolomet XL contains a time released formulation of Metoprolol. Crush it up and put it in orange juice or any liquid with a strong taste (NOTE SPRITE!). B. Fess up to it, When it's time to take the pill don't fret, just say I can do this and you'll get it down. Keep trying it worked for me, and also kept me from death. Been on 20 mg of Xarelto for 5 days now for A-fib, I'm a Celiac and quite senstive to any drug causing gas and a change in my bowel movements. I also have noticed a tiredness in my legs. I'm 71 and quite active and would like to know if these side effects might diminish or subside? they told me that if they don't then I will need to change to a different newer A-fib drug. No bleeding problems. What happens after surgery when you have a GI stromal tumor (GIST) removed from your stomach? I am wondering about the recovery period and how long it takes to recover? I'm taking 20mg of ADDERALL IR a day, while I love the way my brain reacts, my body is a whole different story! I feel like I have a tight suit of armor on under my skin! A medic prescribed it for gastrointestinal issues but my whole body started trembling upon finishing my dose and apparently it has refused to go away. My Doctor has told me to preserve. my wife is taking ecosprin under doctor's advice.But this has triggered gas in her body and feel uneasy Can this be remedied ? ## Unfortunately, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain, are all common side effects of Ecosprin AV (aspirin). In my opinion, the best thing to do would be to use natural alternatives instead of this drug (depending on what your wife is taking it for). She may or may not continue to experience side effects until she stops taking the medication. That is just the nature of man made drugs. She can also try to take another medication to help ease the gas build up; but then again, that drug may come with side effects too. I have been finding little sites all over my body and face for almost 3 years thinking it was stress or poriasis but after getting unbearable night sweats and total loss of taste not to mention other stuff. Finally got a good gastro doc is doing lots of tests on me. No pain at all but these night sweats and total loss of taste and in bed practically 24/7 I finally got dressed to see him. Now I have sores little ones that come and go but one on the base of my scalp you can't see is scary. Any advice about soothing these or stopping the hair loss? I am taking ganaton total prescribed by Gastrologist for the treatment of heart burn and GERD since last five weeks.
