round, white, think this is clavamox - need to know mg ## Same marking, round peach colored pill. What is it? Augmentin? ## We placed a call into GlaxoSmithKline (we assumed them to be the manufacturer because SmithklineBeecham manufactures other meds with BMP in the inscription) Anyways, after spending several minutes searching their reference materials, they were unable to find an exact match for this one. Even the lady on the phone was perplexed, because her reference materials encompass ALL manufactuered drugs, not just theirs. Is there any way the imprint code could be misread or something slightly different? Please let us know where you found or obtained this med, whether it was in the U.S. or not. It is a tablet, markings are BMP 205 just on one side. It is off white the size of a asprin. Thank you ## I was unable to locate you pill, is there any other information you can give me? Scored? It is commonly prescribed for cats, dogs and other pets, to treat or prevent bacterial infections. It contains two ingredients: amoxicillin, and clavulanate. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic related to penicillin, except that it has a somewhat broader spectrum of antibacterial action. Clavulanate is an inhibitor of an enzyme produced by bacteria. The drug, Clavamox is safe, unless one has allergies to amoxicillin or penicillin. Clavamox is a non-narcotic, and non-addictive antibiotic. White Round pill with imprint BMP 213 ## An interesting find, I had trouble locating this one, until I did an extensive search, this is actually a veterinary drug, Amoxicilin and Clavulanic Acid, an antibiotic used mainly for dogs! ## I have some clavamox pills one has a 205 smaller one and one has a 213 larger pill.
