I have been on alprazolam for several years. Blue 1mg. Today I was given green with 206 S on it. Difference ? ## Hello, Carol! How are you? They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The one with the S 902 marking is made by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 1mg of Alprazolam. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm very concerned with the thyroid med being switched around also. Lab tests don't lie.
