What pharmacy carries the blue hydros 10/500 in El paso, Tx westside? ## If you're referring to the blue ones that are manufactured by Watson with the marking WATSON 540 on them, you aren't going to find them anymore. You'll need to be looking for them in white, since Watson has removed the dye. Learn more Norco details here. Additionally, they will all soon be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen, due to concerns raised by the FDA, because of the risk of liver damage associated with long-term use and the toxicity of overdose. Thus, all manufacturers are expected to change their formulations to the lower amount no later than January of 2014. I have the white pill and also the blue pill marked with watson 540. Aren't they both the same except for a difference in the acetaminophen? ## Research I have gathered shows they are one in the same pill. Even the milligrams are the same. blue capsule ## There is no such thing as hydrocodone 100mg, and telling us that it is a blue capsue does not help, (unfortunately.) What is the imprint on the blue capsule? This will help us to identify it. ## I have been taking 100mg of Hydrocodone with 100mg of Tylenol for abt 6 years. It is compounded locally. Only compounded dose can come that high. I take 1 evry 8 hours. There are no markings on the capsule and there wont be for compounded meds. ## That is correct, the manufactured versions are only available in a max of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, however, some doctor's do use compounding pharmacies to have medications done for their patients in special amounts. Does ucb still make lortab 10mg pills? ## Hello, Betsy! How are you? No, the ones that contained 500mgs of Acetaminophen are no longer available. All of these combination medications that contain a narcotic and Acetaminophen have been lowered to only contain a maximum of 352mgs per dose and any that contained more than that have been discontinued. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you are running out early, then apparently your pain is not in control and rather than getting meds illegally from someone else, you should see your doctor to see what you can do to better treat your condition. ## I too have always taken the blue pill which is lortab 10/500..and recently I had to go to a different pharmacy and they gave me a white tablet..and it say M363 on one side the other is plain..they said it is the same as the ...

A clear capsule with blue powder and no markings or imprints ## I found a jar of clear capsules with a black band. It has no markings, but has black and blue little pills inside of it. what are the red dots for? ## Hi greg, Based on my research, the red dots are just there as a design. They are not made of any active ingredient to enhance the medication. There are some pills with blue dots as well, it's just how the manufacturer decided to design the pills for brand identification. Do you have any more questions regarding this medication? If so, please post back! ## They are chemical marker that the DEA has forced pharmaceutical manufacturers to mix in to pills for tracking drug traffic. They will be in all narcotics soon but are primarily in hydrocodone, ambient and some ADHD meds. Different regions get slightly different colors so they can trace sources to the area and even pharmacy ie. Walmart, CVS, Walgreens. This is why there have been some shortages recently...

my grandmother was prescribed 10 mg hydrocodone in a blister pack by hospice. they are dark blue capsules and have absolutely no marks on them. has anyone ever seen these out there? ## These are most likely specially made for her by a compounding pharmacy, which is why they are unmarked and in the blister packs. Many hospices or large hospitals have one on site or nearby to be able to order specialty mediations for their patients. The manufactured formulations all couple the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so it has to be specially ordered to just get the Hydrocodone by itself. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
