Bleeding Starts And Then Stops

I just started simponi aria infusion 2 mos ago, Just got my second infusion, immediately the next day I started bleeding from rectum when going to bathroom. So is this bleeding from my recent radiation for prostrate cancer, the continuing prendison I am on or from the simponi aria itself. My mother is taking pause-mf for heavy bleeding. Her doc suggested that she take it twice a day when her menses starts and continue it for 5 days... but is it really necessary to take it for 5 days? I mean if the bleeding stops in 2 or 3 days, shouldn't she stop taking it? ## Pause-MF contains Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid and it is most commonly used to help control bleeding. And she should take it for the amount of time suggested by her doctor, so it reaches its full efficacy in the body. But you might want to double check with her doctor to be certain.

Hello, i an 18 year old and I was just prescribed Tri Sprintec to regulate my irregular periods. I have Hypothyroidism and Anemia (from prolonged heavy bleeding) I'm taking 88mg of Levothryoxine. My most recent period lasted for 31 days. I recently started my period again on Thursday and it is now Tuesday. My doctor prescribed Xarelto for 30 days and then to stop. I am freaked out because everything I read says 'dont stop taking', 'irreversible'. I am over reacting or is there cause for concern? ## Hello, Scot! How are you? No, this is sometimes used short-term. The directives from the FDA not to stop taking it, means you shouldn't do so on your own, without your doctor's approval. As to the irreversible, that refers to bleeding, there is no way to stop it, if someone starts bleeding, while taking this. It has to stop on its own, if it stops, at all. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Is there anything else I can help with?

I missed my period for 56 days so though i was pregnant so i visited my doctor but he said i lost my norma cycle so he prescbibed Lutenyl tabs for me to take for 10 days.
