Im taking tonic water with quinine for cramping in my feet and legs and it helps but I have to empty my bladder all the time and it hard to hold. ## Hi maggie, In my honest opinion the side effect list for Quinine is pretty nerve racking. And although I didn't see a mention of any bladder-related concerns, I do have reason to suspect that one or more other side effects of this drug may be indirectly causing it: nausea restlessness difficulty hearing or ringing in the ears confusion nervousness rash hives itching flushing hoarseness difficulty breathing or swallowing swelling of the face, throat, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs fever blisters stomach pain vomiting diarrhea blurriness or changes in color vision inability to hear or see faintness easy bruising purple, bro...

Just wondering if anyone has had bladder or kidney problems taking Subutex? I've been on it for roughly 3 years. Is it something in the Subutex? It's the big pills, not the little ones. Any info will help. Maybe the fillers. I don't know. I can't hold my pee at all. Please help. ## Hello Sub Girl Wen, I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues. According to the NIH subutex is known to effect the bladder but what they have listed is urinary retention and urinary hesitance. In other words it is listed that subutex is known to cause users to not be able to completely empty their bladder, have weak streams, not be able to go at all or lose control over their ability to hold their bladder. I would suggest that if you believe your issues are related to your subutex...

After taking Omez-D I have been getting some black flat small stripes in my stool. Is this ok or might there some serious things going on in there? ## I am suffering from gall bladder stones. Can l take Omez-D for this? ## Ram, that could be a symptom of internal bleeding. Did a doctor prescribed his medication? Have you been diagnosed with an ulcer? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence and stomach pain. Salish, no, it will not help with such a condition. I was given Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg to take twice daily for a bladder infection. After 4 full days of treatment, told doctor the following, have had fevers, tremors, dizziness and WORST side effect of all a hacking dry cough. He said stop immediately. Still have cough. How long does this cough usually last? Also, would not recommend this to anyone. there must be better medications out there. Thanks ## I have also had the same problems with this medication. Problems breathing and a hacking cough. It also made me so drowsy that I am scared to drive my car. I also informed the doctor that I am pretty sure I also have a kidney infection from my bladder infection, and I read that this does not treat both. Should I stop taking this medication? I am only on day 2 of a 7 day treatment. ## It can t...

I've noticed that about a half an hour after taking my dose, my bladder starts leaking. I asked my cardiologist about it but she had not heard that before. My primary doctor suggested that this could be a side affect. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? Yes, though it isn't common, the FDA does report that it has been known to occur in some women that take this medication. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and hypotension. You may need to speak to your cardiologist about trying a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much! I knew I wasn't imagining this! ## I also have been having major bladder problems never though it could be from taking carvedilol

I guess I will jluave to wait and see if u can't get anywhere wot luck do we have? ## Have you tried the regular release Oxycodone tablets? They may work better for you! This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Or you could look into trying a different medication, altogether.

I've been having problems with my methadone. I am taking it to get off of painkillers so i have a few questions and would love some feedback asap. So i just started the methadone clinic 3 weeks ago and I've made it up to 70 mgs. Well first it's very weird but since about 40 mgs my lower back is in severe pain and it's a pain I can't really explain. It's like it feels it's stretching my lower back muscles but tightening them at the same time. Why is this happening? Also when I take a deep breath my back maybe behind my lungs is like a bruise pain or soreness but it is in my back, any thoughts? Last one is I can't seem to urinate like I did before. It takes me couple minutes to start my flow, and have constipation. What can i do to help my bladder and go nu...

Has anyone else experienced problems with the bladder not being able to fully release urine and retention while taking Myrbetriq? If so, how long were you on the drug? And did that eventually resolve itself? ## That can be a side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports, and they do advise that you contact your doctor, since it does not always resolve, so this might not be the best medication choice for you. You may need to try something else. How much fluid do you take in each day? Are you on any other medications?

I have been taking contrave for 4 months now I had problems with constipation and now have a prolapsed bladder I may need surgery can I go back on Contrave if I stop taking it??? I have lost 56 pounds but I am afraid I will gain it back right away Loving the way I feel being much lighter wish I didn't have this problem. ## Hello Joann! How are you? Yes, if you were straining due to the constipation, that can sometimes cause a bladder prolapse. And yes, many people stop Contrave long enough to have surgery, then start taking it, again, once their doctor says they can. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Contrave as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## thank you very much have a nice evening

I have had chronic UTI's my whole life but ran into real problems since 1998 after cystocele/rectocele repair. I had a suprapubic catheter for a few days. I got a nosocomial infection in hospital. Before all my UTIs were E. Coli. I got Kleibsiella pneumonia in my urine & over the years a variety of others. I am on cephalexin 250mg prophylactically because I have interstitial cystitis for the last 10 years. About once a year I get enterobacter aerogenes that is resistant to everything except SMX-TMP. this last time was about 6 weeks ago. Made by Vista. Skin on my hands kept peeling no matter how much lotion I used. I was also nauseated constantly. I was an RN for 38 years until 2010 when IC & fibromyalgia put me on disability. Took for pain in back and iam having bladder. Problems comes slowly out could this come from this pill. ## Hello, Eddy! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, narcotics can sometimes cause that, but it would be best to have it checked out, to be sure of the cause, in case it is unrelated to the medication. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
