Black Capsule White Powder

this capsule has no identifying marks ## Hello, Duby! How are you? If there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since they are required by law to have markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy, but they use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

Hello, I found these very strange clear tiny glass capsules with white powder in them, and I can't identify what it is. Here's what I do know: the capsules have numbers on them, and the only other marking is on the black cap that has a little heart rate symbol on it. They come in around a 12 pack with just a white container, no name, markings, or anything. It's very similar to what BIO-tropin, the steroid thats injected, comes in. However, the white powdery substance on the inside is almost stuck together; if i try flipping the capsule over the powder doesnt fall to the bottom, which is different than the BIO-tropin which is a loose consistency. The last piece of info is that the bottle appears to not be able to open, like BIO-tropin, where it has an area under the cap to stick

Please help! ## Based on my research, there aren't any Ritalin capsules (of any dosage) that come close to this description. Where did you get the pill from? It sounds to me like an illicit, foreign, or fake tablet; for if it were real and US made, you would at least be able to Google it. However I'm not sure if other countries also make this brand of methylphenidate. Has anyone else come across this pill? ## Get a drug panel from CVS - one wth amphetamines. Add some of the powder & some luke warm water to see if it comes up as an amphetamine.

Such as the U.S. or possibly from a foreign source? About 3/4 inches dark brown almost black powder. White capsule. ## Hi Brynn, I see that no one has been able to find an ID for this pill yet. Whereabouts did you obtain it from if you don't mind my asking? The description seems to fit that of a typical dietary or herbal supplement of some sort. However, without a marking this could really be anyone's best guess. Have you considered getting the contents analyzed by a lab for verification? I would assume that this would be the best way to determine what it is, being that there are no other traceable-variables to go off of like you'd find on normal prescriptions (at least here in the US).

Hi, I work in home renovation, and come across many errant pills. Normally it takes minutes to find out what they are. The capsule is marked with the Lederle LL or symbol (cannot tell which, almost looks like a £€ but together) followed by 10 on each half of the capsule, mirrored except the numbers don't switch. The capsule itself is fairly large, about the size of a 500 mg antibiotic, black and teal, and contains a powder that is white with a yellowish tint. It looks just like some 10mg Librium, but much larger. I know they have products like that in india, but I can find no record of this pill being sold from ESI Lederle. It is really bothering me, so if you can help identify this preferably with pictures or citations, I would be very thankful.

The capsule is blue and light gray or off white. The blue section of the capsule has a black V printed on it. The gray or off white section of the capsule has 3109 in black printed on it. I can't get my RX for hydromorphone filled anywhere so had it compounded. A tech was showing the pharmacist how to compound it while I waited, so I opened one up to check it when I got home and it had black specks looking like pepper mixed into the white powder. someone gave me some big white capsules that has no numbers on them just two small black strips on each side of the pill it has powder in it and someone told me that it was either oxycodone or oxycontine 80mg has anyone ever seen these pills in that form? ## They aren't manufactured U.S. prescription medications, those are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only way you get Oxycodone like this in the U.S. would be if it was made by a compounding pharmacy, which makes no sense, because that dosage is available, so a doctor wouldn't have to order it that way.
