#17 on one side nothing on the other ## I was able to locate #17 on a white pill and a pink pill, but not a black and white pill. Do you live in the US? The reason I'm asking, is because to locate a pill that is not from the US will be very difficult. If you are in the US then please post back with any more information so I can help you better.

capsule is half solid black and the other half is white with a red stripe around the middle of the white, but the stripe does not quite go all the way around ## Hello, Can you find any sort of imprint on this capsule? The reason why I'm asking is because U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. If no imprint can be found, identifying your pill could be just as hard as finding a needle in a haystack, so to speak. Has anyone else come across a capsule like the one "curious" described? I have tried using many products and have had no success treating black and whiteheads on my skin. Can I use Vitamin E capsules for this problem? Please advise. ## They won't hurt, since they are just vitamin E supplements, but there are also no guarantees that they will help. According to the NIH, they may cause nausea and diarrhea in some people that take them, due to their potency. Have you tried altering your diet and washing your skin more often? What type of soap do you use?

I found a suspicious pill that doesn't look American or FDA approved. It is a half white, half pink capsule with a black stripe on each side. It does not have any branding or coding on it. ## The lack of an imprint doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't a U.S. product, or that it isn't FDA approved. Over the counter items aren't required to have unique imprints and list them with the FDA. That said, while I can be certain that's what these are, I have seen some Diphenhydramine capsules that meet this description, they were sold as a store brand of Benadryl. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

this capsule has no identifying marks ## Hello, Duby! How are you? If there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since they are required by law to have markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy, but they use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

I found a dark purple and black capsule in my boyfriend's drawer. I opened it up and found white power. I tried to look up the capsule online but there are no markings on it. However, I did find an online wholesale site in China that sells the same exact (empty) capsules. My question is, what could the substance that was crushed and put in the capsule be? He does have a history of opiate addiction and is supposed to be on subs. I saw him take it right before bed and minutes later he was half sleeping/snoring and half awake. It's obviously a downer but what?

i found an orange and black pill (capsule) in my son's room with what looks to be a white 'D' on it ## Unfortunately, after trying several searches I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases, nor any related possibilities on google. It very likely that it could be a party drug, a fake pill, or possibly manufactured outside of the U.S. depending on who your son obtained the pill from. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. Pill is worn, can only make out the last number which is 4. there appears to be a couple characters/numbers before the 4.
