I was on Tri Sprintec for ever! My doctor gave me Tri Nessa last month and today when i went to pick up my script it is Norgestimate Eth Estradiol Tab. Ive head this one makes girls gain weight more and breaks out their skin more. I started my period in April, but I wasn't on the brown pill yet. and now I haven't had a period for the month of may. I have no symptoms of pregnancy. I kept holding my urine in for a while now my bladder hurts. maybe that caused my cycle not to come? idk. and I'm taking lo loestrine FE. ## Have you contacted your doctor? Why are you holding your urine in? That's never really a good idea, because it can cause various problems, such as urinary tract infections. It can be normal to skip your menstrual cycle, when you are new to taking oral contraceptives, due to your body adjusting to the hormones, but you should talk to your doctor to be certain. I just started a new birth control two and half weeks ago. I have been on birth control before, started at 16, with some stomach pains for a couple days within the first month. That was on Lo Loestrin Fe, then I switched to the generic. Now moved out and getting my birth control on my own at 20, a new doctor gave me microgestin. So last year I was on yaz and after about 3 months, I started having cramps and gas and always felt like my stomach wasnt settled. My mom thought I was lactose intolerant but when I stopped my pills over summer, my stomach was back to normal. Now I am on yaz again and after 2 months the same thing is happening with my stomach. I'm sorry, but I'm not clear, are you wearing a patch this week or not? Because you're only supposed to wear them for 3 weeks, then take the fourth week off. However, either way, yes it can be normal to have irregular periods due to the hormones in them. I am 2 weeks late for my period so I went to the doctor. They checked me out and did a pregnancy test which was negative. I did 4 at home which were all negative as well. My doctor then prescribed me birth control (Sprintec) to help me regulate my period... So I can start it... So my last period started on saturday the first, so i started the birth control "Estarylla" sunday at approx. 5:30pm, as directed to do so by my doctor. That next morning i woke up from severe hives all over my body, not knowing the cause, as it could have been from a few new items(such as my new laundry detergent, or new lotion, or the birth control). OK I never taking birth control before and now my Dr gave me tri-sprintec and i never a my period in August and I started takening the pill Wednesday 27'and started my period on the 30 how long will I be on my period and is it normal to start on week 1??? ## I can't say for sure how long you will be on your period, it can be irregular for the first 3 months or so, while your body is adjusting to this medication, which means yes, it can also be normal to start at an odd time during the month. You will also not be protected from pregnancy, until you have taken it for a full 7 days. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started my period on Wednesday the 3rd of April and started previfem on the following Sunday which was the 6. I was just put on mono Linyah. My dr told me to take the first pill the Sunday after I started my period. I started my period on a Friday, took the first pill on Sunday. I’m not supposed to have my next period for 20 days, but I start the white pills in 14 days. I have been on Gildess 1/20 for 5 months and have had some break through bleeding in the beginning but it went away. I have had bad cramping on my period and in the middle of my pack. I typically take my pill in the morning around 9:00am but last saturday I forgot and took it at 10:00pm but I had already started to bleed by 9:00pm.
