I have seen multiple people ask about adderall doctors in Birmingham, AL. On every question about it nobody leaves an answer. It's about doctors that prescribe adderall in Birmingham, AL. As many people that read these you would think someone would know something... but I guess not! #sux #hatebirmingham ## Hello, Liz! How are you? I think the main problem here is that there is no such thing as an Adderall doctor. It can actually be prescribed by any doctor that has a valid license to practice medicine, but since it has the potential to be habit forming, some will not prescribe it. Some doctors may also think someone is drug seeking, if a new patient comes in asking for it specifically. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia...

Yes, I am trying to find a way to taper off methadone. I am a recovering addict and I have been in recovery 9 years. In my methadone treatment I was at 70 mg @ day and reduced to my current 30 mg @ day in small amounts over time at the clinic I am in. I have heard that a psychiatrist, under certain conditions could write it. Insurance doesn't cover MMT and my wife and I both go. With one income and 2 kids life is financially impossible. ## Unfortunately, no. Under current U.S. laws to have it administered for addiction treatment or maintenance, it can only be given in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use. However, it is your right to taper off and if you tell them, they should help you to do so, but you do need to be aware that most people never get off ...

Did anyone know if the Birmingham metro methadone clinic will let you charge a dose and pay later or do you have to pay every time on time? ## I LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM BEEN IN TREATMENT 5 YEARS. Its a business,, they could care LESS if you can't pay.. You get established and later you can CHARGE ONE DOSE.. if you don't have the money then they don't care,, flop around on the sidewalk for all they care. Sign up for medicaid ,, they will pay for it. If not eligible then you are screwed, because they are so afraid the insurance companies won't reimburse at their fee of $ 14 a day , they wont take it. OBAMACARE was suppose to change that,, and when I get done with some of these clinics by suing them thru the justice dept. THEY WILL TAKE INSURANCE THEN WHEN BARACK AND HIS DEA GET...

I'm looking for a doc that will prescribe methadone. I recently get a prescription for 70mg a day and when I went to get my last refill he told me I need to find a new doctor that he won't be able to prescribe me anymore because they are changing the law and for him to prescribe for pain management he had to be a PAIN specialist and then he would lose his mal practice so I'm in a huge bind. He's been prescribing me for almost 7 months and he said he would write me till the end of the year and that's it. Idk if he's lying or what the deal is. I can't afford clinics not to mention my work schedule won't allow it. Has anyone else heard of this and or know of a doctor in or around birmingham. Maybe you could also help with some information? ## Yes, there are ...

I wanted to know what pharmacies carry the 2mg green xanax bars so I can fill my script. I live in a town called Bessemer, Alabama. If you know of any pharmacies around my location I would really appreciate the help. ## There is nothing in the green pill that you won't find in any other color. It won't do anything different, and green tablets don't taste better or cost less. Bessemer is a smaller town, try Target. ## Hi I’m live in the Birmingham/Bessemer area I have severe anxiety and panic attacks and my doctor moved to Wisconsin. I have a prescription for brand name adderall 30mg. twice a day cant find pharmacy in Birmingham al Carries the brand name please help ## Hello, Micca! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. There are two possibilities for why you're having trouble finding it. One could be occurring if you're calling the pharmacies to ask if they have it. Since this is a controlled substance that is often abused, they will usually just tell you that they don't carry it. This is because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate patient with a need, or a potential thief. The second might be due to a shortage. They typically occur towards the end of the year due to mandatory manufacturing limits on controlled substance. Each company is ...

I live in Birmingham, AL and I just can't afford getting my methadone though a clinic since I lost my job, and I do not have insurance. Are there any doctors in the local area who prescribe methadone as maintenance program? ## I'm sorry, but under the current laws, private practice doctors cannot prescribe it for addiction/maintenance treatment. That can only be done in a clinical setting by those that have been specially trained in its use for such. Learn more Methadone details here. And really, a private practice doctor is going to be more expensive than one of the clinics. Have you tried seeing if there is an assistance program that you qualify for? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness,...

I'm having at least 3 panic attacks a day. My voice is always shaky and I can't even stand beside my own father or a man that's taller than me. I get really nervous and scared I freak out in crowds to the point where my blood pressure goes up and my face turns red I start sweating and feel as though I am going to pass out the only thing out there I have found to work is Xanax. I have to take up to 6 milligrams a day throughout the day not all at once to fill normal. I cannot find a doctor to even help me! I live close to Birmingham Alabama any advice? ## Hello, Ki! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. You can't contact a doctor and ask them upfront about prescribing a medication, such as Xanax. I am currently trying to find a doctor that will prescribe Subutex instead of Suboxone and the Birmingham metropolitan area in Alabama. Anybody that could help it would be greatly appreciated. I am heading rashes on my face and on my arms and as on other areas from the Suboxone or rather the naloxone in Suboxone. Thank you ## Hi jerod, I'm misty n I'm the same way. I cannot take suboxone at all and need a Dr in the bham, al area to write subutex bc it actually works and helped. I took a couple before. So if u find a Dr let me know too please... I am on Medicaid and having trouble finding a physician who takes it much less one that will treat for ADD. I've been treated by another doctor before and diagnosed with ADD along with other issues but that was with BCBS. Please reply if you know of a Medicaid provider in the Birmingham or St Clair County area who will treat ADD/ADHD & precribe necessary medicine. thank you! ## Hello, Angel! How are you? Most PCPs will not treat such a condition and prescribe the appropriate medications, due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year. Most will just refer you to a specialist, which in this case would be a psychiatrist. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you...

Hi! My pain dr that I've been going to for years is retiring & my primary doesn't want to write my script for my Oxycodone. I've called everyone I know to call & most are not taking new patients or they want to put me on Suboxone & I can't even come close to affording them plus everyone I've talked to says they won't work. I can get a referral & medical records so that is no problem. I'm just trying to find a new dr anywhere from Birmingham, Al to Tuscaloosa, Al. Does anyone know one? Thank you ## Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, your PCP cannot prescribe it for you on a long-term ongoing basis, you have to see a pain management specialist for that. As to the reaction you got from your phone calls, that is normal if...
