has BGO name been changed could it be sold under different name ## Hi, Shucks! How are you? And no, I'm sorry but it has been discontinued and is no longer available. There have actually been several posts recently by people looking for this ointment and unfortunately, all have been disappointed. Is there anything else I can help with?

BGO ointment last distributed by Calotabs Co. in Greenville, SC. Company has apparently closed...not further info. Ointment is an antiseptic, antifungal cream for relief of th athlete's foot, ringworm, hemorrhoids, externally caused blemishes, cracked lips, minor cuts, burn and bruises, corns, itching from burning skin due to sunburn and non venomous insect bites. Contains salicylic acid, sulphur, zinc oxide, phenol calamine, menthol, petrolatum lanolin and mineral oil. Have used this product for over 50 years and it works great. I used to buy the BGO salve. It was great. But i can't find it anymore. Do they still make it. If so, where can i purchase it? ## We've actually had several people looking for it recently, but it appears that it is no longer available. Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist to suggest an equivalent product? They should be able to help you find something similar. ## It is a shame that this medication is no longer manufactured. I just scraped the last touch of it from a jar that I have had since my father-in-law died in 1998 to put on some sores on my leg and I am really going to miss it.
