I was given Bezide tab for high blood pressure and need to know what the side effects are. Is there a natural cure for hypertension? ## I believe the best way to naturally control high blood pressure is to have the majority of foods that are consumed, be rich in antioxidants, omega 3 fatty acid, protein and fiber. I am not an MD, but I have personally dealt with hypertension for a long time until I made this change in my diet. I hope this information leads you in right direction. high pertensition drug ## I have been taking this medication for years, but in Canada, the drug store, does not know what it is. is there a generic North american name for it? ## side effects of bezide tablets and what are they for? ## Sorry, since this is not from the US, I am unable to find any information on it, or what our equivelent for it would be. Drugs from other countries, even Canada, just aren't as regulated as the ones we have available in the US. ## Bezide is used to treat hypertension and not high pertension. The story I get from the people I have spoken with is that bezide is essentially hydrochlorothiazide, or HCTZ.
