I've taken metoprolol Succ Tb 100Mg ER for a few year from Mylan. Now I'm taking the same from PAR. I've started getting a lot of palpitation. Could this by the reason? ## Hello, Evelyn! How are you? It is difficult to say, there can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another and adjusting to a slightly different dosage could result in your experiencing palpitations. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination and headache. However, it would be best to have yourself checked out by your doctor to be sure of what's going on. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? That's not a dangerous dose to take, unless your blood pressure and heart rate is already low. But it could cause you to experience more side effects than normal, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. It would be best to inform your doctor to be safe. ## I usually take 100 mg of Metoprolol succinate twice a day; 1 in the morning and one in the evening... My Dr. recently changed me from Benicar hct 40-25 to Valsartan (?mg). Comparisons seem to be the same mostly, however, I also take Potassium Chloride 20... Can I still combine the medication? I take it in the a.m. I also take Metoprolol succinate 75mg in the evening. Is this ok to combine with the other medications mentioned above? ## It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions, multiple medications are often prescribed to help lower high blood pressure as fast, and as safely as possible.
