Best Generic Oxycodone

I've used Rhodes, Amneal & now just starting Actavis. (Oxycodone 10/325) The Rhodes seemed to work well. The Amneal seemed to barely work at all. The verdict is still out on the Actavis. I'd welcome any suggestions on generics of this drug. ## @Steve, Actavis took over Watson brand and ruined the product in comparison as stated by so many long term Watson customers. As a previous Watson lover I can say that Actavis is hit and miss at times. The 5/325 oxy are huge round hard pills that do not work at all. The softer 7.5/325 oxy are effective but not as good as the old Watson by any means. I have just started to use the 10/325 oxy and I honestly think the 7.5s worked better. Actavis is getting a bad reputation as time goes on but with alot of research on other brands and opini...

I need to know what the best generic brand name is for oxycodone 15mg is? ## Hello, Derek! How are you? They are all equivalent, but for various reasons, some work better for some people than others. The only thing you can really do is try the one that your pharmacy has available and see if it alleviates your pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Several of us have found the oxycodone manufactured by ZyGenerics to be very effective. We are unable to purchase this brand at Walgreens, Safeway or Kroger stores. Suggest you look for a smaller independent pharmacy that can carry the products they choose. Walgreens, Safeway, and Kroger are pushing pain products by KVK Tech Inc. that we have found to be absolutely "poison pills". Suggest you stay away from their products if ...

I went to my Pain doc and he changed some of my meds..increasing mg dosage from 15 to 20mg oxycodones..along with oxycontin 10 to 20 mg. I know, there is no generic for the oxycontin, only the OP's..what's the best recommended generic brand of oxycodone, if it is such a thing as a 'better generic brand'? now, i am taking the 4811.green, believe it's "qualitest"? i have been satisfied with them but, it's the only brand i have ever tried..so, i really have nothing to compare them to. Maybe, someone might have some better understanding of generic meds, what..if any is better or not as good as another brand? any input would be useful, thanks so much for your time and willingness to answer my questions. ## Hi, Sally! I also took the Watson. Last prescription I received amneal which were awful. Aleve worked better! I threw them away! I did take the Mylan before and they was not too bad. Don't know if any generic now can get close to the Watson. Now I found two different pharmacies that carry mylan and endocet. Seems from reading, Endo does not make the generic endocet only the brand percocet, its qualitest which is now part of Endo since 2010 per Endo website. Confusing to me. Can anyone explain this to me? Since the company Endo really does not make endocet, are they still the best generic or should I stick with the Mylan? ## Hi Lulu, How's it going? Sorry to hear about your experience with Amneal Pharmaceuticals. It looks like they haven't been receiving much positive feedback from what ...

NEED TO KNOW THE BEST MFG. FOR 15MG OXYCODONE. THE BRAND I AM TAKING NOW SEEMS TO BE LESS EFFECTIVE THAN BEFORE. I DO NOT KNOW THE MFG OF THE OLD SCRIPT BUT THE CURRENT MFG IS KVK-TECH. INC. THIS INFO WOULD REALLY HELP FOR MY CHRONIC BACK PAIN I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FROM FOR 15 YEARS. ## Hello, James! How are you? There is no one best manufacturer that can be named. What doesn't work for you may work great for someone else and vice-versa. There can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another, but mostly it depends on you and your body. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You may also need a dosage adjustment, you could have just grown tolerant to...

is there a less expensive medicine than oxycontin 80 Mg TID ## There is no generic for Oxycontin, which is the time released formulation of Oxycodone from Purdue. However, there are generics available of the regular release formulation, the name brand for this is Roxicodone, but it will not last as long as the time released formulation. A time released medication that you may want to discuss with your doctor as an alternative, which is also available as a generic, is MS Contin, which contains the active ingredient Morphine. Oxycodone, however, is stronger than Morphine, so you would require a higher dosage of the MS Contin. Are there any other questions?

what does this pill look like? is it round and lite green ## This are not listed in any of the databases, yet. They are very new to the market, but many people have posted about them on various sites and identified them as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone, generics for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I would like to know what is the best gineric 15mg there is out there

the best thing to do is ask for the name brand form of the pill.roxxicodone and not the generic and go to a big corperate pharmacy not a mom and pop shop ## I have seen a bunch of the darker blue K-9s here in Florida lately too and I think they are fake also. There are a ton of fake pills going around now. ## To those who are constantly at risk of taking fake meds, the best way to avoid this is by obtaining a valid prescription through your doctor and to get it filled at a licensed pharmacy. Not worth risking it all by taking a shot in the dark at web-based pharmacies or other illegal means. In all fairness, sometimes legitimate pharmacies even dispense what 'seasoned' pain patients (i.e. those who've "tried them all") refer to as placebo pills; doing nothing to mask...

They do not work and I get extra headaches from this pill/brand. I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS with Mallinckrodt but these suck. ## @jojo, Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with KVK Tech. According to a number of threads I’ve seen here on this site, KVK Tech is being widely regarded as one those Oxycodone manufacturers that people should steer clear of, since their tablets aren’t providing anywhere near the amount of relief as other brands/generics. However, if Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is what works best for you, I would just encourage you to ask your doctor to specifically write that down on your prescription, based on it’s proven track record to help manage your level of pain. I’m not sure if this will make your experience with trying to fill the scr...

I take oxycodone 15mg for my back and recently got a refill. I had never seen these before. They are imprinted with E7 & the E is funny looking. I took one & it did absolutely nothing to relieve the pain. Are these pills real? Now I'm scared cause I don't want to have pain but safety is my main concern. Has anyone ever gotten these from a pharmacy? Please help!!! ## Chrissy, take them back to the pharmacy for them to identify. Also call poison control 800 number, they will identify them for you. Good luck! ## Hello, I hope I can help. What color, what shape, etc are they? ## Something is definately going on w/ generic brands. I've been in strict pain mgmt with the. best Doctor specialists. which generic Maunfacturer do you think has the most active ingredient of the oxycodone as this is the generic for percocet. i currently get 10/650 and know endo is the best, however im gonna to be dropping to 10/325 to lessen the tylenol and have heard that there are definatley some that have less active ingredient than others. ## Yes, there can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic medication to another, but there's really no way for anyone else to say that one is better than any other. The reason I say that is because the one that's worked well for someone else may not work as well for you and vice versa. It really all comes down to the person. Thus, the only thing you can really do is try it and see which one works best for you. Are there a...

Alvogen 10/325 any one else feel it is not controlling their pain as well as other brands. Thanks for your input. ## Hi Annie, I have not tried the Alvogen brand specifically, but according to other related threads on here, Endo Pharmaceuticals is touted as having one of the best working Percocet tablets by comparison. My theory is that one or more of the binders/fillers that Alvogen tabs are composed of aren't able to sufficiently metabolize in our body, thus leaving part of the active ingredient(s) lying dormant within. I don't know if this makes much sense to anyone else who may be reading, but it seems like a feasible possibility since each manufacturer uses a different set of inactive ingredients. ## Thank you very much for answering my question, in your opion it will work ...

I'm a quad and take oxy 5mg and aspirin. For years I was on percodan and they stopped making it, so now I take generic. Now I hear they are going to stop making oxy + aspirin together. Can you find out if there is any truth to that n do they still not make name brand percodan? I would appreciate you looking into this and letting me know what you could find out. Thank you so much. Means a lot. I have enough built up for a little while. ## Hello, Tom! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Yes, it is true that the name brand in this dosage has been discontinued. I don't know anything about them discontinuing the generics, as well. However, if it's what works best for you and your doctor approves, you could always take a 5mg Oxycodone tablet with r...

Walmart has been getting the green 10/325 oxycodone is there any difference from the oblong white 10/325? I have been getting those at Walmart and now they have changed it. ## Hello, Patti! How are you? When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, the FDA has done this to try to create market competition to help keep prices down. As a result, which one your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. Without knowing the markings on it, I can only theorize, but my best guess is that they have just been manufactured by a different company. However, if you post back with the markings, I will be happy to double check for you to be sure. T...

picture 30mg oxcodone pills ## In regards to posts such as this, since they are made rather frequently… I'd just like to let anyone else looking for such pill images know a few details. It is not possible for anyone to post images of all of a given medication, when it's something that is available as a generic. Once it's on the market as a generic, then it is manufactured by many different pharmaceutical firms and they all have to use different imprints to enable the medication to be identified and traced back to them, in case of an emergency. Thus, the best thing to do, if you want to identify a tablet that you have is to post with the details from it, including the imprint and then someone can help you to identify it. Are there any questions or comments? ...
