I went to my Pain doc and he changed some of my meds..increasing mg dosage from 15 to 20mg oxycodones..along with oxycontin 10 to 20 mg. I know, there is no generic for the oxycontin, only the OP's..what's the best recommended generic brand of oxycodone, if it is such a thing as a 'better generic brand'? now, i am taking the 4811.green, believe it's "qualitest"? i have been satisfied with them but, it's the only brand i have ever tried..so, i really have nothing to compare them to. I was given Percocet 10/325 when discharged from the ER for a bulging disc resulting in BIG paun. (Continuing back problems~ degenerative disc disease, old horseback riding injury, etc.) The Neurosurgeon changed my pain med to Roxicodone (oxycodone hcr on bottle) 10 mg. I am ABSOLUTELY NOT getting the same relief from this medication. Can you tell me why? Same stuff only no acetaminophen in Roxicodone right? I was taking 4 80 mg oxys daily my doc put me on 2 100 mg teva morphines will it help the same and will i go through withdraw thank you ## There may be some issues here, because the Oxycodone is actually 1 and a half time stronger than the Morphine, so you'd need 120mgs of Morphine to equal each 80mg dose you were taking of the Oxycodone.
