Cough til ribs hurt, head aches and short of breath. Was told to try tuss pearl to stop scratchy throat. Sounds good. Cost? I have Secure Horizons HMO. ## These are excellent. I have used them from time to time for bad coughs from allergies or colds, and they work. They quiet the cough with NO side effect, and work almost immediately.

Why would I be prescribed Lorazepam with Tessalon perels and Amoxicillin for acute bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection? ## Hello, Curtis! How are you? The pearls are used to suppress cough and the Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. I am not sure, however, on the Lorazepam. Did you doctor explain?
