cough medication ## I was prescribed Benzonate for my cough while I had Bronchitis. It was not helpful at all and the over the counter medicine, Nyquil did a better job. Would not fill this medicine if prescribed to me again. ## Not all drugs work for everyone. ## I was given Benzonate for a cough and have been taking it now for 5 days.
