Can benedryl, Tylenol and acetaminophen be taken in a 24 hour period? ## Can you mix alka seltzer plus night and benadryl? ## Tylenol contains the active ingredient Acetaminophen, so you do have to be careful with it. You should not take more than 1,000mgs of it in any 8 hour period, and you should not exceed 3.000mgs in 24 hours, due the risk of overdose toxicity, according to FDA reports. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Samantha, they have several nighttime formulations. According to benadryldosage.com, Benadryl dosage administration is something that most people should make sure they know properly if they ever want to use the drug properly. I know that the use of this drug varies by weight and it am so much in love with this drug basically because of is effectiveness. It's a pill just shaped like a short capsule. ## I found a small light blue pill with ec on one side ## The light blue capsule-shaped pill in description is reportedly identified as Diphenhydramine 25mg, marketed as a sleep aid. For verification, this pill is said to have been distributed by Velocity Pharma LLC. According to other feedback here, apparently, they sell these at the dollar tree store. Hope this helps!

I have had 2 anaphylactic shock episodes due to ER visits with Benadryl in my IV. Allergist tested...allergic to Benadryl. I am on MANY meds and many have hydrochloride in them and some have diphenhydramine in them. If I am allergic to benadryl, would it be to the Diphenydramine, or the hydrochloride side? Thank you! ## It would be the Diphenhydramine that you have to stay away from. The Hydrochloride just designates the chemical salt that a medication was derived from, so you will actually see that listed on many different medications.
